What Is Your Favorite Brand/Pattern?

In traditional knives, I have more canoes (by six different makers) than any other pattern (been told I'm not normal more than once), followed by single bladed trappers (from five makers). I'm partial to GEC (though I don't like their canoes), Canal Street, Queen, and Case, in that order. GEC (all 1095) has the best overall production (never had to send one back), while Canal Street has an equally good record, with me (love their steel selections). Queen (good steels, as well) and Case have been somewhat irregular in performance.

Don't have a favorite brand, but it seems that I have more GECs than any others. Perhaps GEC is my favorite brand of traditional knives, but it may be just coincidence. As far as shapes, that's easy: the swayback jack with a single warnie blade.

Two blade jacks by GEC 66, 15, 85 and even the 06. Must have a clip blade, unless it is an SFO like the latest 85 or BF knife.

Oh and the 76 too.

My favorite brand is easily GEC. My favorite pattern is the #48 Trapper with the Trapper Jack being the one I carry and use the most. They only made the jacks with a few handle options (only 2 Tidioute and 3 Northfield options)... I really want one or 5 in ebony though. Just the #48 jacks, and each one pictured is different... (3rd green bone not pictured I guess). I'm also a big fan of the #33, #53, #73, and #85.

It depends on the day and what I will be doing. I have a tendency to carry a pattern for a while, then I rediscover an old favorite and it is my new all time favorite... for a couple of weeks.

Then I rediscover another knife in the drawer and that is my "all time favorite".

Seriously, the stockman and the copperhead jack patterns have seen the most time in my pocket.

My two favorite patterns are easy-open jacks and muskrats.
For vintage versions of those I love the old Remingtons.
For modern day jacks and 'rats I'd have to say Great Eastern has done a mighty fine job with their renditions.

I honestly couldn't pick one brand or type. I prefer carbon blades to stainless and generally I like the overall size to be under 3 1/2 inches with two blades. But I couldn't pick one. It's like choosing which of your children you love most!

Two blade Trapper is my favorite pattern, but I'm being swayed by the 6292 Texas Jack.Favorite brand, really don't have one.I like them all.
I tend to be drawn to larger pocket knives,4" and larger.

Opinel, by far. I generally always have either a #8 or #9 in my RFP. I'll carry some of my US made knives from time to time. But the Opinel wins out in the end. Best blade for my cutting needs. Light. Very tough. Really has ruined me for spring backed slip joints and lock backs.

Right now, GEC is making my favorite knives. As far as pattern, I switch between stockmans and jack knives frequently; these past couple of months it's been difficult getting the #15's out if my pocket.

I have no one favorite brand or pattern, I am trying some new ones; yet still using and enjoying those that I have had over the years. I'm a fan of larger models and yet still use and enjoy smaller ones as well. I'm really looking forward to the 2013 BF congress jack.

Case, Remington, GEC, Queen
Patterns huge single Blade Barlows, Toothpicks, Clasp knives, and folding hunters.

Talk about a trick question....

I think currently my favorite brand is GEC.

I know that my favorite pattern is the Case mini copperhead.

GEC is my favorite brand; #79 Montana Workhorse is my favorite pattern (clean lines, great blade selection, and built like a tank). Also like the patterns #15 and #92.

GEC #53 Stockman, with the #62 Courthouse Whittler getting runner-up.

For hard-use, the #79 Montana and #47 Hayin' Helper can't be beat, they're both built to take a beating.

So yes, there's my favorite
