My vote would have to go to the FBM. In particular the CGFBM. The FBM is in my opinion the must have knife from Busse. If I can only have one Busse then the CGFBM would be it.

The FBMLE is a close runner up because it has that nice beautiful satin. I chose the CGFBM because it is hard to beat it when taking into consideration weight, performance, and price. With a nice edge the CGFBM is equal to the FBMLE in chopping performance in a lighter package.

AK...me likeee AK. I have lots of other Busses for various purposes. Lots of them that I use more often. I carry almost everything more often than I carry my AK...yet it remains my favorite. I love walking around the house with it....I love holding it my lap...in fact...I'm fondling it right now. I need some alone time with my AK...BBL.:)

If I could only have one Busse it would be my FFBM. It just works so well for a lot of things, and is nearly indestructible.

FBM SE 07. Saber ground, and somewhere between the CGFBM and the FFBM. Durn near perfect.

SHBM is a close second.

That is a great choice.! I would most likely choose something like that also if I owned one.

I am torn here. It really depends on the situation. I have narrowed it down th three. AK, NO-E, and FFBM. If it were in an urban setting I'd say the NO-E. Easy to conceal and will baton all the wood I might need if that were the case. Also prys, and all that other stuff Busse knives do.

But don't make me choose. It was hard enough to get it down to three and I think there will be a 4th someday. ;)

sigh! If I must. ;)

Okay, if those is the rules. If it had to be one I am going to have to agree with an FBM of some sort. CG or FFBM (I have). It will chop, pry, etc... And do most anything a small knife can do. Almost. IMO. I'll use my wife's knives for food prep. Plus my FFBM easily fits in my Falcon II pack. Felt light too.

So an FBM of some sort.

I would have to say my favorite Busse is the one that Jerry has not made yet. Busse Folder, Busse Folder, Busse Folder, Busse Folder, Busse Folder, Busse Folder, Busse Folder, Busse Folder, Busse Folder, Busse Folder, Busse Folder, Busse Folder, Busse Folder, Busse Folder, Busse Folder, Busse Folder, Busse Folder, Busse Folder, Busse Folder, Busse Folder, Busse Folder, Busse Folder, Busse Folder, Busse Folder, Busse Folder, Busse Folder, Busse Folder, Busse Folder, Busse Folder, Busse Folder.
But if you make me chose that I will have to day my CG BATAC with mags.

Well I have a lot of favorite Busses. But for me they go in categories.

User Chopper, user small knife, just plain fun, most collectible etc. etc., but in the user chopper area; yes I agree that the CGFBM is number one.

In fact I was just talking to a HOG today about the fact that it seems odd to me that the CGFBM has not caught on fire with respect to resale. That knife should be selling fast at the prices listed on the exchange.

Maybe it will be like the Hell Razors. They sat around at $267.00 and then I blinked and they were at $500.
