I have only owned a few Busse's... BATAC,FFBM,GW,AD,NOe,HR,SAR5 and out of the ones I have owned, I really like the bastard Busse SAR5....that is my Favorite.

I'll tell you what, I agree. The BA3 was my favorite in this range, but I really like this version.

after much though...ABA LE, or any ABA
Can do most any task I could need a knife for if I have other tools.
Other tools such as ax, prybar, etc... could do the rest, Ban didn't say we couldn't have those.
Try skining a Deer, rabbit or small fish with a FBM
edit- ohh, I didn't think about being able to have other Brand knives. I do have many smaller customs, so I change it to the HOFSH LE!

I'm too new to have a favorite really seeing as I only have a Hellrazor, BATAC, Active Duty and an Embrace the Suck commemorative. A Jackhammer is on the way from Ganza. So far the Hellrazor wins. The Active Duty seems like a really sweet little knife for daily use. I just need to find a good set of legs for it.

The other BMs that are wacked out as to value are the BM-Es. I think I saw an BM-E LE sit there for $750, and there were only about 300 made back when LE meant a limited number rather that a version that would not be made again.
I'm glad I took that ZTBM today as I can see the BM-Es being $1,000 knives when people get the drift.
I was slow to get it myself because I had SH-E first that felt like a 1x6 in my hand.
Oh and the Basic 9's

ZTBM's would be up in my number two spot, BM-E's in general would be(reminds me I have to go close a thread), but the SHBM is still tops for me. Then after the E's the FBM-SE would be tops, it has almost the same balance as the SHBM and the same thickness.

Banned AK. Preferably my soon-to-be-Banned AK with thin black G10 handles.
For everyday use I'd pick an AD. But there are enough good small blades out there that I could live without an AD.
But nothing can replace the AK. It's fun yet serious, unabashedly utilitarian yet elegant in its simplicity. And when it is Banned it cuts so effortlessly, it goes through goza mats like it's parting the Red Sea.
