What is your favorite Double-Bit?

Question from a newly interested axe guy…

Is a double bit axe always two ends with sharpened edges? Or could it be one standard sharp edge and say one hammer or pick on the other end?
The edge of an axe is called the bit, yes a double bit axe has a bit on each end.
There are pick axes, pulaski's with a grub hoe on one end, and rafting / construction axes with a hardened poll for hammering, but double bits have a bit on each end.

Thanks for the response! I appreciate

My favorite db is an original Everkeen that has the original handle. Even though I was raised with double bit axes, I haven't used them for years. I greatly prefer single bit's of the right weight and profile for the task at hand. Dog

I'd love to see that one.
2nd one from the right in this Flint Edge Family photo. I got that at the estate sale of a former USFS regional manager.

Rottweiler puppy added for cuteness.
