This is my favorite Dozier. I like the blue color, and I like it that the blade isn't painted black. And I love the spear point blade. It works for me. A perfect, lightweight edc blade for just a few bucks.
I like all of those. My favorites are probably the K-6 Personal, K-42 Companion (wharncliffe/sheepsfoot), and the Pro Guides Knife. I gave away my blue handled Kabar Dozier Folding Hunter. Guess I need to pick another up. Honestly, there are very few knives made by Dozier that I don't like.
I do not own a Dozer knife but I seen them at the Tulsa Gun Show a few years back and they had a Bushcraft knife that I really liked. I have not seen it advertised since as I believe only some were made but it was not regular production but I really liked it and wish I would have grabbed it that day but I was broke.
I carry a KM-6 almost every day. Unfortunately it's the only Dozier I own, but I'd have to say the KM-4, 9 ,& 10 look amazingly comfortable. Almost all of his knives would work, I think, for me. The couple exceptions would be the models with the blade taking a steep curve up for skinning. Outside of that, any.
Thanks, Neal
Without a doubt, the Loveless DPH, made by Dozier himself. These both are dated 2009. One is ironwood and one is green canvas micarta, both have the thin red liners. After I got one, I had to get another...
