Pattern, Color, Serrated or No. Give me your top three if you have experience with them. Why?

And the bonus question, what hardware do you have on your sheath? (tek lok, molle lok, etc.)

Many thanks ahead of time.

I just have experience with the Izula (black in color).

Its a great little knife especially with the factory micarta handles.

Standard ESEE 6 black plain blade.
Also have a 3 in desert tan. The 3 has taken a beating or two and has held up phenomenally.

My favorites (in order):

1) Izula - Perfect size for EDC. Goes anywhere and is up to tasks larger than its size would indicate.

2) ESEE-3 - Great size for carrying in the field.

3) Candiru - I just like it. You can carry it practically anywhere and it's just too dang handy. Get the scales, they make a huge difference.

My preference for all 3 would be plain blade. I have no need for serrations. Color doesn't matter to me, but basic black goes with anything.

I loved my Izula when I worked landscaping, but I sold it after that summer. I just have a foliage green/stonewashed Zancudo now, which is an incredibly nice EDC for the price after a small tweak to improve the deployment.

I have a 3 green blade and orange scales and a 4 with tan blade and tan canvas micarta scales. Both are standard edges ,that is no serrations dont like never had and never will(unless its a seamaster that AG Russell sells and it has serrations on the front part for cutting rope)I like them both but I like the kydex sheath on the 4 and wish that the 3had kydex instead of plastic.

Laser Strike. My go-to prior to this was the 4, but the grip left a bit to be desired as it was too small. The LS is perfect.

My ESEE-3 is my go anywhere knife and my #6 stays on the Boat at the Marina ( they have Camera's ) and that is about all that I really need.! {do have my Spydie Delica ZDP189 clipped on right hand pocket.^^}

For me it is a toss up between the 6 and Junglas. The 6 is my go to camp knife. It was been through a whole season of work with me and handled everything perfectly. I wish it had a kydex sheath but the plastic one actually does great and carries well for me. The Junglas is just a cool blade. It is great for chopping and processing larger wood for fires. After that I would say the 4. This blade as not seen much use but it has seen a lot of carry around town and on hikes. Plus I got some cool kyptoglow scales for it. Other ESEE experience I have is the Izula which is a nice small EDC fixed blade and the 5 which I sold because I never used it again after I got the 6. The 5 was just too thick and heavy for my uses.

Also just got a couple arrow heads to through in some survival gear. Another thing I really like is the ESEE 5/6 clip plate. Counting the one on my 6 I have 4 of these. One on a Bravo 1, one on a Bravo 2, and one on a SOG Gov-Tac. Some people don't like the plasticieness or the rattle. I don't mind the plastic and the rattle can be mitigated by some adhesive loop side velcro. Learned that trick from FTR-14c, who sold me the Bravo-1.

Where do you find those scales at? Those are cool.

My ESEE 4, tan serrated. Doesn't look as cool as that but I like it, solid piece of kit.

4, 6, a couple of Izula's. Three out of four have orange scales as I want to have a quick visual outdoors. The regular Izula is a pocket carry. I use the Izulas the most as they pretty much do everything that I need a knife to do out there. Beyond that, there are axes and saws.

Currently the only one I own, the ESEE 3.
Absolutely love it and is decently sharp out of the box.

Got mine in desert tan with green Micarta canvas handles.

Esse 6 and Laserstrike. But I have a Junglas coming so I might have to change my opinion.

Tie between my ESEE 3 and ESEE 6. Junglas is close behind. ESEE 6 has TKC scales on it. Great knives and a great value.

I like the 4 and the 6. Tek lok. I plan on getting a Junglas just to try it out, but eh, it's cool if I never get one. I've got too many big choppers anyway.

My favourite is the ESEE 3 I think there are few contenders in that size range, it comes with a great sheath (a lot of small knives have huge bulky sheaths) and it's not too thick. I've got two, one D2 RAT-3 from the Ontario days and a 1095 ESEE 3, both plain edge. I use a Spyderco G-clip or the clip that came with the sheath to carry it (the plastic clip on the Ontario sheath sucks, so I got rid of it).

3, black coated blade, plain edge, standard drop point, standard canvas micarta. There isn't a situation in which I'd carry an Izula 2, but wouldn't carry a 3. Consequently, I give nothing up by taking the extra blade and grip length. The choil placement and execution give flexibility between reach and choking up for fine work. The blade is a great width for the types of tasks a 3" blade is suited for.

In a nutshell: perfect.
