What is your favorite flipper that cost under 100 dollars?

Under 100 dollars?

I love the blade size and shape on my SOG Flash 2 but, I would have to pick the US made Kershaw Zing as my favorite flipper. Cost is way under 100 clams and the Sandvik steel holds an edge very well and is easy to sharpen. On top of that, the orange scales really stand out so I can keep track of the knife.

Shame that they don't make it any longer.

I love my Kershaw blur in s30v. Although you can afford the Elmax version in that price point. When I first got it, I didn't think it would hold up because it's so light! But thus thing is great. Although I HIGHLY recommend deassisting it

Not a flipper, AFAIK. Unless Kershaw released a limited edition Blur flipper. That would be awesome.

There are several good ones from Kershaw and CRKT but the smoothest one I have handled lately is the CRKT Hootenanny! Very Smooth and a nice looking blade!! Kevin 👍👍😊

Kershaw Scrambler - it's like a cross between a Blur and a Thermite, with great detail work for a sub $40 knife.

Boker+ Urban Trapper - thin and lightweight, non assisted.

Buck Open Season folding Skinner - I must add, I bought 2, one was perfect, 100% smooth, the second was noticeable stiffer with slight blade centering off; I gifted the perfect one to the father in-law, and kept the lesser of the two for myself after fixing the centering issue, making it a bit stiffer after tightening the pivot screw a tad... Still a great knife though.

I have 2 and love both.
Boker Urban Trapper.....light as a feather, great flipper and looks very cool!
Boker Ti Kwaiken.....flips great with an awesome blade!
Good luck!
Joe

Kershaw Link.

Awesome knife for $40 and under depending on model.

This is definitely one of them:

Real Steel E771 Sea Eagle

(There is a review on that knife in reviews & testing)

You can try to find a Kershaw Groove or Zing, they are two awesome but discontinued RJ Martin designs. The tanto Zing in particular is probably my favorite regular production Kershaws of all time.

The Skyline is always a great choice.

But I love bearings so I think I would get a Kershaw Strobe and use the leftover money to have someone make me custom overlays.

Don't think I saw anyone else mention the Kershaw Knockout -- doesn't seem to get much love in general actually. But I like it, it's pretty light, aluminum framelock (or "subframelock" with a steel insert). Kind of a weird blade to handle size ratio, not in length, but other dimensions. Not a bad knife by any means though. Normal version is in 14C28N, but there's a kinda ugly brown one that can be had in Elmax, tad over $100. Normal version is right around $60.

Currently debating between Buck Vantage Pro and the Kershaw Blur, both in S30V for my first flipper. As long as we're discussing flippers here, anyone have input?

The Blur isn't a flipper AFAIK, but I there's a flipper version let me know. I'd love to have one.

And the dope award goes to...(drum roll, please)...ME!!!!!

Sorry. It was mentioned a couple of times in this thread, so I got it in my head that it's a flipper. Scratch that...time to go back to my corner with that sill hat.

Lol, no worries. The blur is a great choice even if it isn't a flipper. I'm a die hard flipper fan, but I recently picked up a Blur and it is quickly becoming one of my favorite knives.
