Sure seems like a carbon fiber is really taking off again based on the new knives I see coming out with it. My favorite personally is still G10. What handle material is currently your favorite?

Love the peel ply carbon fiber and Westinghouse Micarta.

Above all I like to see contouring of the material... love contoured titanium, love contoured CF. Would like to see some more natural materials though.

Canvas micarta.

carbonfiber or peel ply carbonfiber (none of that laminated crap). with metal where the pivot is obviously.
zero liners preferred if it can be helped. but a thick layer of milled out titanium can help. thin stamped ti like say a boker exkelaber is bad.

if i could get every knife to have carbon fiber on both sides that would be idea, liner lock or frame lock (obviously it would have to have a metal/titanium bar attached for the either of the locking interfaces).

some examples

Burger Knives, EXK1
Jerry Moen blue max
Guardian Tactical Helix

same for fixed blades. carbon fiber all day long.

Natural osage orange treated with hot beeswax.

G10 question : Can a thick enough slap suffice as a handle scale without flexing if it does not have any form of steel or ti liner ?
