I have recently become interested in Spyderco knives after picking up a Caly 3 and a waved Endura at a gun show. I think my next purchase may be one of their "little big knives". What is your favorite (past or present) little big knife?

Welcome to the forums, Tempusfugit77!:)

I really like the discontinued Spyderco Dodo, the Spyderco Lava, and the Emercon CQC-14 "snubby." I always carry an LBK (little big knife) to compliment my larger folder carry. Good luck.

if you already have a caly3, i'd get something nice and tiny. right now i have a spin etched and cricket etched. they are both exceptional knives. i am partial to the spin because of the wharncliff blade. it is extremely light and will go anywhere undetected. it's sturdy and well made. the etching looks awesome and feels grippy.

the cricket is really cool too though. here's a pic with both along with my amazing copilot.

The FRN Dragonfly and the MeerKat, although the D'fly sees a lot more pocket time. Lately I've been carrying two, one SE and one PE.

Poliwog or the Lava!! I own both and they are fantastic.

Hard to go wrong with any Spyderco you get!

Cheers,
Mike
