Like the title says, I want to know which method of knife carry is your favorite and why. Be sure to mention the pros and cons of the method you describe!

TTAWR! :D

I carry my knives in my pocket (see Fig. 2). I prefer this method of carry to carrying them in my hand, because it is more discreet, doesn't tire my hands out, and leaves my hands free to do other tasks like brushing my teeth, giving high-fives, or tying my shoes. It also allows easier access than carrying them in a backpack, and is much less dangerous than carrying them between my teeth like a pirate (see Fig. 1).

Fig. 1: Example of how I don't carry my knives.

I carry handle down so i dont have to get snagged on clothing etc,its easier to pull or drop down into the hand.Always used the method in the military and its the quickest extraction method.

Front right pocket. SUPER fast for me to pull open and deploy. Less than .5 seconds for all three.

What he said. Inverted on right hip.

I normally carry my knife in my back right pocket. It's how I've carried a knife for years, and I picked it up from my grandfather. A lot of men around here carry a knife like that (a Case Sodbuster is popular). Every once in a while I'll clip one in my right front pocket.

I put my knives in my enemies and then carry them over my shoulder, duh.

Forward grip tip up carry. Why? Because it's the easiest way to wave open a knife:thumbup:.

Folding? One in each pocket :D

Fixed? horizontal on 11:00, for right handed draw... easier to sit with

My favorite carry for a small-medium fixed blade is horizontal at 5:00.. its out of the way, easy to grab, leaves the hip open for a pistol.

Cons: could be harmful if fallen on due to being perpendicular to the spine, cannot draw with left hand.

For a folder - low-ride clipped to the pocket.

I carry my folder horizontally between the 3rd and 4th button (from the top) of a dress shirt. The knife is always at my finger tips, available with either hand, and accessible when sitting. I adjust the pocket clip to the thickness of the placket.

I prefer to EDC a small fixed blade, and my preferred method of carry is neck knife carry. Not everyone likes it, and it takes some getting used to, but now that I've done it for 3 years non-stop I don't think I will carry any other way. Sometimes I pair it with a folder which I carry in my front right pocket, but if any of the two knives stay home it's the folder. One of my neckers is always with me.

Same here.
My favorite carry method is a folder clipped in my right front pocket. Quick to grab, use and return all one handed.
But I always have a neck knife as well which can all be done one handed also, just not quite as convenient and attracts a little more attention.

Folder in the right front, and sometimes the right rear pocket. No fixed blades, since I'm in California.

I just slip them in my right front pocket.
