What is your favorite Multi-Tool?

I had a SuperTool first which I kept in my briefcase. I would also carry a Micra in my pocket.

I read reviews on-line on the SwissTool so I bought it. I really like the easy unlocking tools and the ability to access the tools without opening the pliers.

I carry the SwissTool daily in a nylon horizontal belt pouch which came with my Crawford Kasper Fighting Folder. The SuperTool is now in my car trunk.

I had a problem with my Micra falling out of my pocket when I drove. Luckily, I was always able to find it. I also had problems with rust. I recently bought a sheath intended for the LM mini-tool which fits the Micra fine. Now I won't have to worry about it falling out of my pocket. Hopefully it won't be as prone to rust now that it is out of my pocket.

I am surprised at the number of Micra owners out there. I just switched my daily carry from a PST II to a Swiss Tool so I might have to consider purchasing one. Although I think Victorinox is supposed to make a new Swiss Tool version with scissors. I gave a Micra to my father and he like it so much he bought one for my mother, two brothers and my sister. Now I just have to figure out how to carry my Mini-Maglite again. I think LM makes a ST holster with a flashlight loop

I have a couple leatherman's, the blades were always loose and falling out when using it, then purchased the Gerber, and the pliers promptly broke, purchased the SOG, and was somewhat pleased for a while, then found the Victorinox. I believe my search is over.

I just got a Leatherman Wave and now its my favorite. It replaced a Gerber Multi-Tool and the two aren't even in the same class.

Just because I talk to myself doesn't mean I'm crazy. What's wrong with getting a second opinion?

I like the wave, but I I would rather it had an awl. They could replace one of the screwdrivers with an awl and I'd be happy. Also I wish all the tools locked. And the only other thing I dont like is everyone I have seen will flex at the pivot point of the pliers. Overall it is my favorite due to the comfortable handles and easy access to the knives. Just because it is my favorite of the bunch doesnt mean I think it is perfect. I bought my brother in law one and he has literally wore it out. He broke one of the knife blades and the pivots are incredibly loose now. He can work it like a butterfly knife now. I dont think the wave is up to as much hard use as the supertool. I would like to see a "super wave".

I like the swisstool, except for the knife blades. They suck. They are the typical swiss army knife blades. Very flimsy, and the serrations are terrible.

The supertool has all the tools I like. My only complaint is the uncomfortable handles and no "easy access to the knife blades.

I think my Wave would be THE BEST tool on the market if it had, say, BG-42(that's a nice comprimise to talonite or infi) clip point and sheepsfoot blades, and if somehow an awl was added.

I just love the vast(4) array of screwdrivers, plus a phillups, and I have had no problems with them closing on me, thanks to their design.

I can relate to screwdrivers closing on your hand, as it has happened to me with a cheap(

) generic multiplier and my Gerber, but as far as I've heard, none of you guys have actually complained of it happening with the Wave, but rather of the remote chance that it might.

Just my $0.02

I may be the only one, but I have handled them all and like the BuckTool BU-360B. Not as many tools, but it is more durable, Just my opinion.
