What is your favorite production folder?

For a small shop, it would have to be my large and small Sebenzas (newer model). For a large shop, I'm glad I seem to have a favorite no one has mentioned that being my large BM/Crawford Leopard, one of the most elegant knives I have and certainly the most elegant of my folders with a 3.5" blade!

My "I don't care what happens to this [folder] knife" is a CRKT Mirage with wharncliff blade. Prior to that it was also a Schrade Clipit which I still have somewhere but has gotten too stiff to open easily with one hand so I don't use it much any more.

I can't pick one,

but (in no particular order)

BM 705

Emerson Mini-Commander

Small Sebenza

THE 2 FOLDERS THAT I WOULD RATE AS THE HIGHEST...meaning
they are TOUGH,HI-QUALITY-LOW COST KNIVES THAT should cost
3 times their value...and i would depend in either of them
without hesitation in and emergency or survival situation...
would be the KERSHAW BOA/BLACK GRIPS & BUCK STRIDER 800
both of these are nearly indestructable..outstanding razor edge
holding, enviorment proof, dependable knives. i believe the boa
is probably structurally as strong as the striderbuck.

No doubt about it.

Buck 110. Probably the most successful knife design ever, and deservedly so for a variety of tasks.

Punch it up with a BG-42 blade (Buck will upgrade, or order a customized version) and you have an outstanding knife.

I like my spydercos and benchmade axis blades too, but the 110 is my favorite.

It's a tie

Straight Line Umfaan
Lum Chinese (Gunmetal)
Cricket
Small Classic Sebenza
G10 Harpy
Almite Worker

the list could go on...

Favorite production folders:

Wenger Handyman SAK
Leatherman Micra (if you can call it a folder)
CRKT Bladelock --I have'nt been able to put it down since I got it for Christmas. This is one very under-rated knife!

And I just bought a Spyderco Meerkat and I love the phantom-lock!

Good luck,
Allen.

1. Large Plain Sebenza
2. Microtech LCC - My favorite until I recently bought the Sebenza!
3. Al MAR SERE 2000

I would choose three (so hard to make these decisions... so many knives... so little time... :D)

 • CRK Umfaan (a perfect gentleman's knife)
 • Benchmade Mini-AFCK in M2 steel (so ergonomic and rugged)
 • Spyderco Navigator (so much raw cutting power in a small package)

Al Mar Hawk, for EDC, razor sharp, light and sheeple friendly.
(Very important before you stick a large, sharp object into someone liver, kidney, pancreas, etc. for a living)

My Buck 112, Camillus C-6, and an old Gerber LST. I have others, Buck 110 and Odyssey, Kershaw Onion Whirlwind, and Browning 825 come to mind, all great knives, but the first three are my favorites, at this time. I just looked at a Benchmade 942 today, and it sure looked nice. A Petes Custom 110 would be nice, too, someday.

At the moment, the Emo Mini-Commander. Green G-10 with a partially serrated blade. Very very nice.

Whitewing Warlock for pure, beautiful knife, but the knife in my pocket right now is a Spyderco Starmate. Picked it up at the gun show last weekend and right now it's got "favorite" status; I'm actually kind of surprised at how much I like the Starmate -- I'd never bothered to handle one before.

William Henry Black & Tan Persian deserves an honorable mention. Perfect little knife for stress relief in the office.

Today the UDT
Tommorrow the 940 benchmade
Sunday my small Sebbie
Love the one your with !!!:p
