What is your favorite shotgun that you own or want to own?

I have several Ithica 37s in riot and hunting configurations. These are my favorites by far for day to day stuff.

I also have a smooth little Rossi Coach Gun with the exposed hammers in 20ga.

I would like to pick up severl Winchester 1897 and Model 12s sometime in the future, and a nice English stocked 20 ga double or OU of some type.

Have Rem 870 Special Purpose Deer Magnum w/add'l 26" VR RC barrel. Love it.

Have Savage 511 12ga double taken off at 18 1/2" for S&Gs.

Want A VangComp'ed set up or Scattergun Border Patrol.

Wouldn't mind a Beretta BL-2 Riot... Sweet. Passed on one years ago for $275. Dumba$$....

Mine is an old H&R Topper single barrel 12g with 18.25" barrel. On the foregrip is written with something pretty permanent the word "Spooky". Back in the 80's many loads with black powder and various shot material were "tested" in this gun. Busted the web of my right hand open back then....

Also have an 18" 870 Magnum loaded with #4 buck as a 'go-to' weapon.

Don't really have a fantasy shotgun want or need.

A minty Winchester Model 97 riotgun--that's my dream gun.
I already have an 8-shot Ithaca M&P and a Benelli Super90 M1 for "social purposes" but something about that retro "Wild Bunch" styling of the M97 appeals to me. I already have one M97--a riotgun made in 1914--but I surely wouldn't mind another (or two) of them. :D
And yes, a Belgian-made Browning A5 or an Ithaca MAG-10 (the "Roadblocker" variation)would be nice too.

Favorite that I own has to be an old, old 870 Wingmaster.

I've tried the USAS 16; a buddy has a Spas 12 and lets me play with it...they're good for plinking, but I don't see much real utility. I know it sounds kind of silly, but the shotguns I really want to own are old Ithaca 37 DSPS's, and perhaps a Benelli or two. But other toys beckon...decisions, decisions.

Benelli M1 SA. Top of my list for addition to home defense use. The Mossberg 590 is probably #2 on that list, especially in Stainless (called the Mariner I believe).

I'd also like a beautifully engraved/inlaid Beretta over/under for sporting use.

I have a Remington 870 Wingmaster that my Father gave me. He bought it in 1964. I don't hunt and I would never sell it, so I had it converted by Scattergun Tech. put a Speedfeed 3 pistol grip on it and carry it every day on duty. I love that shotgun.

A nearly 60 year Ithaca mod 37 20 guage is my favorite. The metal and the wood are nearly the same color of brown, and yes Melvin it is a blast to hold the trigger back and have at it.I'd really like to have an old Fox side by side.

Like my favorite will matter to anyone, but im bored, so...

I like the Remington 870 Marine Magnum for several reasons.

First, its a proven design, nearly bullet proof.

Holds 7 rounds, some SGs hold more, but 7 is a nice number, especially with 5 more in a side saddle at your fingertips.

Shoots 3".

Virtually rust proof, requires very little maintanance. Dirt just wipes right off the slippery nickle finished parts. Easiest shotgun to keep clean.

Looks better than a SPAS 12/M1S90 should you ever have to prove you acted in self defense.

I have several shotguns ..but my favorite is my Ruger Red Label in 28 ga. This shotgun is a pleasure to carry on afternoon strolls after work..Not many squirrels get away from "Betsy"

All I've ever owned are Brownings (12 and 16 Ga) but my fantasy shotgun, without a doubt...Purdy

I don't hunt. If I were going to buy a shotgun for defense it would probably be an 870 marine for the reasons discussed above, but I sure like the looks Scattergun Tech. guns. I've also really liked every Benelli I've shot.
