What is your favorite tea maker, type and flavor?

I have loads of different teas here at home- I get Earl Grey and Darjeeling from Uptons- http://www.uptontea.com it's a fantastic mail-order tea house. They even personalize the tins for you. I also drink a good bit of green tea, Roiboos, and other herbal teas such as Kam Wo that I drink when I'm sick (flu, etc.) and I still have some stuff left that I got in Chinatown in NYC when I needed to flush out my liver from a couple of days of Happy-Hour-Starts-When-The-Alarm-Goes-Off while on a trip w/ the lads...
I used to work (briefly) at a market stand in Heidelberg (Neuenheimermarkt) where we sold teas (herbal preparations) for coughs, flu, fluid loss, constipation- all kinds of maladies... The owner would give me a half-kilo (pound) of good, strong black tea each week that I would use to barter for veggies w/ the old Turkish ladies. A pound of "chai" would hook me up w/ serious veggies for the week.

For cold tea I make sweet tea with Luisianne tea bags and simple syrup, when I want a cup of hot tea I normally use loose Pingshui gunpowder green tea leaves.

Red Rose by lipton, have a couple of mugs with breakfast followed by coffee and some computer time before going on with the day.

Yerba Mate (any brand) in a traditional gourd and Bmobilla. An acquired tatse, but one worth trying for.

AGREED!

Mate is an excellent drink, and it may not taste great, but I sure do like drinking it.

My favorite is Fortnum and Mason Assum Superb. A wonderful strong dark tea available in bags or loose leaf in a tin. I make a pot every morning and have it nice and strong with a dash of milk and a spoon of sugar..... Nothing like a nice cuppa!!

Mine are Mariage Freres and Harney and Sons, loose leaf black teas. Any tea drinkers here?

Being a tea-aholic I drink over a quart a day. Mine is brewed in our coffee maker. Using 1 bag of Earl Gray [with bergamont ] & one family sized de-caf I add 2 small scoops of sugar ,pour into a gallon jug, shake vigoriously & pour over ice. Terrific year-round Florida drink !
