What is your favorite thing to do with a knife?

[looks over shoulder]
I can't tell you here with everyone listening!
[looks from side to side]
I'm not even sure it's legal. :foot:

Buying new ones!
Just kidding.
Sharpening. Then the first cut, that indescribable feel of some material, any material, seemingly divide itself without any effort on my part.

I like to sit around with a highball of scotch and slowly sharpen up a knife. I've got a little system of a Smith's tri-hone sharpener, followed with a leather belt loaded with cheap green compound. Depending on how much scotch I put down, the edge of my knife will either be sharp and scary, or require more time to fix it up.

that supper doesnt look too exciting :(

Don't diss the patak you punjabi bastard!
Curreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeey! :D
Has to be bush-craft for me since it pretty much involves everything you can do with a knife.
Food prep is what I do most, I am a chef after all!

Heh, that was the only shot with a blade in it. Here's some from the same dinner:

Gotta love a "Ruby Murray"!
I'm not the dude from the quote but....

THAT'S much better :D:thumbup:

Oh come on you all, just admit it!

"shopping for my next fix!"

Then using the last "fix" you got 4 days ago to open up the box your latest new desire is located in.

Just got me two Swiss Bianco semi custom SAKs in the mail today. Used my Cadet to open box, may never use cadet again, replaced with much cooler Orange Lumberjack (Cadet with saw)
:D

Breaking down cardboard boxes. Oh, and just randomly opening and closing it dozens of times while I surf the 'net. I'm going to wear out some Omega Springs well before their time :D
