What is your favorite Titanium Framelock < $200

In this order.

1. Kerhsaw Ti/SG2 JYDII
2. Buck/Mayo TNT
3. Spyderco Sage II
4. Benchmade Mini Skirmish
5. Kershaw Ti/ZDP-189 Leek
6. AG Russell Italian Tactical Framelock
7. Spyderco Ti Salsa (Ti frame compression lock)

Here are my Ti Framelocks:

The first three from the top are in your price range:

* Buck Mayo TNT - Home Depot sells it for $185
* Keshaw Bump - my favorite for under $200
* Bradley Alias - just over $200

You could probably find a small Strider PT for under $250 used and maybe a used small Sebenza from Chris Reeve for about the same. The Kershaw Tyrade is very nice, as well, for under $200 new. You can probably find a blemish Zero Tolerance 300 series for under $200, too.

L-R below: BM 630 Skirmish, BM 760BK LTi, BM 635BK, Kershaw JYDII Ti/SG-2. The far right is a lockback - Buck 560XLT - a 110 blade with a fg Ti handle.

The amount I paid decreases from L-R, starting at <$200. The JYDII in Ti/SG-2 is unreal! The BM 630 is huge! All, except the Buck, are exceedingly well made. Shop around... for older BMs, try older stock in smaller Ma/Pa stores.

Surprised not to see any mention of the CUDA Dominator. While not my favorite, it's definitely a quality piece.

My top choices, in order of preference:
Kershaw JYDII SG2 (Yes, I even like the clip!:D)
Kershaw Tyrade (Just beautiful!)
Kershaw Blue Bump (Classy, and with a Krein Grind, Awesome!)
Camillus CUDA Dominator (Muy Macho, and built for a lifetime)
Camillus CUDA Maxx 5.5 (Come on! 5 1/2 inches of D2!)

The Buck Mayo TNT deserves a mention. Although I'd probably rate it higher than some I have, I don't currently own one.

Okay, I love the looks of the BM Skirmish, but the clip placement, and hole location are a little off for me. Some mods (like a flipper) and I'd love it more.

Mine's a modded Kershaw Bump I picked up recently from a fellow forum member. Bead blasted handle scales, reprofiled S30V blade (sorta wharncliffe-ish), flipper... Nice.

Well, I have well under $200 in my small 21 micarta Seb, but for a realistic under $200, I'd say the BM 760 M4. Fairly easy to carry Ti frame-lock with a traditional (Rounded front edge) tanto in M4 steel.

I also agree that the Kershaw Ti JYD is quite a knife for the $, too.

Sage II hands down...........................
Best value on the market for $158.00 .......................

I picked up a Kershaw SG2 JYDII frame lock for well below $200 and love it. Its probably my favorite production Kershaw of all time. Its hard for me to find one that compares apples to apples with it for all it offers. I mean made in the USA a decent steel thats highly corrosion resistant and with a unique design to the handle and shape. The best thing about it IMO is that its a frame lock though.

+1 on the SG2 JYD II.

I don't think many people know about this one or handled one in person.
