That wood background with the CGFBM is nice. Good texture without being too distracting.

Love the deck one. I am trying to work with the burlap and the odd wooden pieces I have around here. I am very short on lighting though.

I like the pics w/ your old/antique guns/revolvers with your knives.

and I meant to include you with Ken, and Rob. Your colors are always so vivid. colors are vivid on knives but do you shop around it to make some of nature seem psychedelic? I love em. Not the ones above but others. especially ones with hog shirts on deck I remember

I like natural backgrounds...

Not really. Afternoon sun makes the ferns in the background pop. I do add or remove luminescence, contrast & color from them to help draw the eyes to the knives more. The FSH above was the first attempt to remove color from everything but the knife. Lightroom helps with the post photo processing. I gotta get a more recent copy of LR as mine is quickly becoming outdated...and maybe it's time to finally spring for a copy of Photoshop too.

LMAO! a couple of those just aint fair Rob:D

I have always loved decks with fall leaves too. Spectacular.

The last I am still laughing over:):)

I think it's pretty hard to beat a scenic landscape for a background.....

I've found that using a drawer/cabinet liner works well when doing comparison photos, it's easy to get everything lined up.....;)
