Between the Large Espada and the Recon 1 XL, I'd have to give a slight advantage to the Espada. It has a considerably stronger point and the wave feature, but the Recon 1 is a very close 2nd. It is the sharpest, pointiest knife I've ever handled.

I love every XL out there, discontinued or new.

But, if I had to pick:

Looks: Old Voyager X2

Badassery: Rajah I and II

Versatility: XL Rawles Voyager

Strength/weight: Old XL Tanto

Classic: TiLite VI

Scary: Vaquero Grande/Talwar XL Serrated

Absolute favorite (all things done right): It's the Hold Out I for me

The tanto Voyager on the left, do you do that mod? The curved spine does some really great things to that knife, very nice.
