Im curious what you guy's latest knife purchase is and why? I never thought I'd get into fixed knives but mine is a wedge and wedge 2 by outdoor edge, I'm starting to get into the idea of a really small fixed blade and thought these looked cool, plus they were dirt cheap. I figure if I wind up carrying/liking them a lot, I may step up & get a real nice custom like a Rinaldi Gambit or a Chris Hatin necker for my main long term EDC knife. As for folders........can't find the ideal folder so I guess I'll quit with what I got now and start saving for my custom.

if it includes ones on order, getting prepaid for when they come out...

25th Anniversary Delica... VG-10 steel, Damiscus bolsters w/ spyder in them, Jigged Bone scales.... *grabs bowl to catch drool*

only $130(USD)+shipping, while the predicted price is $230(USD)... love connections...

my preorder went in Monday, my money gets sent on Aug 17th. Predicted delivery is around xmas or so.

I have just ordered a Camillus Arclite in D2 from A.G. Russell & am having it sent to Bodycote to have the Diamond dlc coating applied, from there sending it to TAZ to have micarta handle slabs attached...
I can't wait to get it !!!

Recieved a specplus machete in the mail today.
Spyderco Delica and air sog on the way.
Just ordered two of Mr. Cooper's Cajun Wharncliffs! One for my Dad and one for ME!!

A CRK Mnandi with Ebony scales I'll be taking to a wedding this weekend!

I received a FRN Spyderco Native yesterday, and a FRN Endura on the 21st. I'm a "happy camper", but I want MORE Spydies...:).

I recently ordered a Spyderco Vesuvius 50/50 w/blue shell inlay from Glasshartt. Waiting patiently for it to come in....yeah, right.

Besides that, I'm waiting for the gun show that will be in town this weekend. Can't wait to see what new knives and gadgets will be there for the taking.;) :D ;)

The last knives I actually paid for:rolleyes: were @ BLADESHOW. I picked up a Rinaldi TTKK in S30v. Man, does that knife CUT! I'm very pleased with its performance, and further intrigued by this new wundersteel .

I also happened upon a NIB SpeedTech SYNERGY.....for a "C-note"<!>. That one is going in the safe.;)

Got this from Max Burnett today. A big chopper.:)

Last one I got was a Nucleus from Ferret. I used her this week for the first timeto break down about a dozen copier boxes. We got three new copiers and I drooled when I saw the boxes. I even did the unfathomable and pried some nails out of a skid. Then, just for fun, we whacked 2x4s in half. That's not as easy as it looked, considering I'm the size of John Fitch's left leg :D .

And to think, I got paid while doing this!

Samhell,

I'd gladly trade you my 2 new Spydies for your Max Burnett "chopper".:D. That is one nice-lookin' knife!.

Tonight, just purchased a SOG Tomcat II cocobolo...first discovered it when I was just generally looking for a cool knife to get:P....saw a pic of one on the SOG forums and that sealed my fate.

I picked up A MTech SOCOM Elite manual Brend grind from Chief here a few weeks ago. It's cooler than I expected. And that, to me, is what's great about ordering a knife online that I haven't seen in a store. I see a crumby picture on my tube, and it looks good. BUT then I get it and WOW, its a RUSH! A nice hunk of metal, well finished, very tight, good balance, sharp enough to split a hair...I'm sorry I think I drank too much. I need to sleep...
