I have a short list (LIAR!) that I'm waiting for.
1. Lg. Axis in M2 tool steel
2. LH models of the Starmate/Military
3. The new Spyderco Fixed blade
4. SIFU's at my local knife dealer

I could fill a page up with other sharp edged things I'm eagerly awaiting this year but these are first and foremost for me.

Happy New Year Fellow Forumites!

I'll be eagerly awaiting my large M16 from Kit. Gonna go full tilt on this one - 420V spearpoint with flipper. This knife is gonna be extra special to me, as I am going to fly up to Kit's place and help bring it to life.

My Millennium Black from Jerry Hossom...ground from CPM-3V steel. Just thinking about it gives me the shivers!

There's also the possibility of another folder from Pat Crawford...maybe one of those sweet looking Janus models, or a Carnivour.

I also have a Polkowski Scorpion on order from Les...

Geez, better start working overtime!

Let's see:
1. Small Hunter from Neil Blackwood (D2, burl scales, to match the Small Game)
2. Small Hunter from Lynn Griffith (black micarta, to match the Tracker and Patrolman)
3. Master Skinner from Bob Dozier
If I can pull those off early in the year, then I've got my eye on another Small Hunter from Neil, this one with micarta scales and kydex sheath, and I might as well get a matching Small Game. And if THOSE can be had by the fall, then what the heck, lets shoot for the Sebenza! Gotta go, wife is coming!

MY MICROTECH BREND L-UDT THAT FED EX DID NOT DELIVER YESTERDAY; SHIPPED NEXT DAY AIR (I HATE FED EX)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have to agree about the Benchmade 730 by Elishewitz. I love the axis lock mechnism and will buy only this type of knife from now on.

  • Spyderco Centofante Jr. just as soon as it's available in CPM 440V.
  • Something from William Henry, probably a CF Kestrel or CF Lancet, assuming I can bring myself to spend that kind of money on one knife.

I have to agree with wkrafft. I`m looking forward to any new Kershaw/Onion designs. Maybe this year I break down and order a Baby Boa.

For 2000, I hope to receive a Talonite Carnivore with Snakewood scales from Rob Simonich. Then maybe a CQB-1 or Quest from Camillus. Also, a Bob Lum/Spyderco Chinese folder (for Dad). Jason

I'm eager to see the next Axis Lock (I'm NOT quite as easy to please). I also look forward to the NEXT lock that comes out. Any spiffy innovations. New Spydercos. Heck, I'm still waiting for my Endura and Delica! Top of Texas accidentall sent them to Fowler Dr. instead of Folger! The wait's REALLY getting to me.

All sorts of promising items on the way, it seems. This next few years should prove to be pretty exciting.

Howie

I have nothing on order for 2000, no wait I am an idiot!! I have a couple of knives from Steve Isbell coming...A small Tanto, and a very specific neck knife that he helped me come up with! I don't know yet what will follow me home from the Vegas show, I hope its a Lightfoot or a Carson, maybe a Chew, I hope they all want to come home with me!!!

Tis better to be the hunter......than the hunted

1) Darrel Ralph Millenium Apogee #2 with his "Unfolded" Damascus Blade.
2) Custom three finger damascus skinner ordered at the Blade Show last year.
2) Maybe something handmade from Ken Onion. (Honey, if your reading this HINT, HINT)
3) That Rob Simonich talonite Carnivore would look good in one of the holes in my display cases.
4) Who knows what is to be seen at the blade show this year.

Oh the pain, the pain in the checkbook.

It's a fine line between "a hobby" and "mental illness".

4) The production KFF - or hell I might just spit out the money to get the 'real thing'.

3) A carnivore.. (and a bm750 and an AFCK - so I'm a late bloomer yeah I don't have one yet

)

2) Mr. J. Hossom's Millenium Bowie.

It is heresy if this is not on top of my list...

1) BM's new production Balisongs.

3) Emerson Chromium Nitrate Commander/CQC7 (on their way)

2. MT DA-Socom
3. MT L-UDT (on the way)

I am searching for that ONE KNIFE that will end all my knife buying. The ONE KNIFE that is perfect and will quench my thirst for buying, selling, and trading. The ONE KNIFE that will satisfy every desire I have in a knife.

(I hope I don't find it.)

I would like to get true custom Sebenza with my own gold coin (still waiting for CR reply to my e-mail) or Q36 by R.J. Martin.

If I do not save enough for those it might be one of Blackwoods neck tantos.

BTW: DANGELO- I saw one tanto AFCK on e-bay about 2 days ago
