What is your most comfortable knife?

Sorry, no photo, but my Brian Goode "Stinger" has the best handle I've used to date.

Lorien.... I'm humbled to be included with makers like Lamey and Tai.

Will, I intend on being a life long patron of yours. Character is a part of the equation, and you are definitely a character:p Don't be too humbled, it's just me and according to some, I'm a know-nothing:).

But seriously, you make a great knife:thumbup::cool:

My most comfortable knife is by BF member, ib24vu. It's a small hunter made with D2 steel and an Afzelia Xelay handle with Titanium guard and butt cap. The reason it is my favorite is because it just feels great in my hand. It's the perfect fit for my grip. I was a little skeptical at first before buying it as it looks like a large handle but once I held it in my hand it was as though it was made for me personally. The craftsmanship of this knife is just great too.

I just joined today and within minutes I am in Knife Heaven. I haven't seen a blade here that I didn't like. You guys have some beautiful pieces.

This one from Tom Krein is magical.

This is a Stellite 6K half-tang based on the Dozier Yukon pattern (used with Bob's permission). The handle material is an amber twill micarta.

This Ed Fowler Bowie is like an extension of my arm. About as comfortable as it can get.

Its this one for me. I reckon a certain Mr Loveless has got this handle business just right!
I'd give my right arm to own a real one.
Mind you, I am left handed;)

I wish I had some other knives to compare it too, but I only own what I can knock together myself. Seeing what some of you lucky people own makes me green with envy:(

When I put the first Charles May Big Woods in my hand, I told Charlie to make me one just like that. It just felt right.

So that's where that one ended up.:p I think it was that one I tried to get when it came up for sale on Burt's site but missed it by what must have been minutes.. Nice!!

this Farr hunter melts into my hand

I've had the pleasure of handling this one to make a sheath for it and it is a beauty. It feels fantastic.

...but I got this new one from Don last month, it feels even better in hand.
Thanks, Don.

I can't over how nice this Hanson is.

My most comfortable big fixed blade is my Bowie made by Pierre-Henri Monnet

I'd like to know more about this one. It really appeals to me.

Great photos everyone.

May this is the one that you missed, but I got it quite a while ago from fellow BF member we both know. ;)

Surely. This Bowie has been mde by a french knifemaker named Pierre Henri Monnet. This one is featuring a 10-11" XC75 blade with melted copper areas on both sides of the blade and a curly maplle handle.
No needs to tell you it's a fantastic chopper....
