What is your most used Buck fixed blade

Mine has been an old 102. I really like the size of the blade, but the handle is a touch too small for my hands. The 119 is too large for most of my cutting, but is nice when I am out camping.

Yesterday I got a two new (to me any way) knives. One is a 103 and it has the stamp of Buck 103 and USA with no date code. The other and 105 from 1988.

I have found that the 105 fits my hand better than the 102 and the blade is only slightly longer on the 105, but almost the same shape of the 102. I think my new 105 will be seeing most of the use from now on, but I would really like to use the 103.

The 103 feels beefy and has a nice thick blade. I am sure it would be great at skinning a deer, but I am not sure if it would have much use other than that.???

Any way, what is your most used Buck fixed blade? Pics are welcome and I plan to post a few of my two new Bucks.

The buck 119 special is probably my most used buck sheath knife, I use it camping.
( its not my most used sheath knife though ;-))

It's not my most-used fixed blade by a long shot (my Scrapyard Yard Guard holds that title), but out of my BUCK knives, it's my most-used (meaning I actually cut things with it once in a while):

Dave, that is pretty cool. What did you use to cut the steel to the shape you want so fast?

The night hawk is one knife I have never owned. I looked at them a few times, but always passed on it for the 119.

I do like the shorty's but most of the ones I have seen were combo edged.

My old 121 gets the most actual use by far.

It has great balance, it's light and slender, it's handy for everything.

I use it mostly for cooking. It's a great hunting, fishing and camping knife.

I have been using this 888 for 2 deer seasons now and it's a real workhorse! It is actually a great skinner as well. Solid blade design and real grippy G-10 Slabs... I like it more and more each time I use it!

My 119 from last Sept cheats... it found it's way into the kitchen, so it gets used the most now. Historically, the 192 was up there - but the two 005s from this year are current favorites, with the GYS version in the lead.

If I had to choose one fixed, it would be the 105. You can even split wood with it (don't try this at home... woods are OK :D

Finally a comparison shot - 110/105/102

Well I'd have to say it would be the 119 for me. It's just that special knife that I give to each one of the kids as they get old enough to join us at deer hunting camp:).

My youngest so and his first buck & 119

My 102 has seen the most use of any knife I own. I have enjoyed it in the woods and at home in the kitchen. I have had it since the late 70's.

You didn't specify what kind of use...Cleaning fingernails, removing splinters, cutting tire plug stubs off...I've done all of those with my 119... ;)

But since the 119, two 120's, and a 124 are all the fixed Bucks I have, the 119 wins hands down...The others are Closet Queens... :D

The 120, 124 and 119 have all seen alot of action. It just depends on what I'm doing as to which one I choose. However, I'd have to include the 402 Akouna, 105 Pathfinder and 112 Skinner(I just could'nt live w/o a good skinner). DM
