I carry a Spyderco Shaman with a full serrated blade and a Leatherman wave in the saddle bags? It was warm enough to ride yesterday and today to! Man, it makes you feel better.

I have been a motorcycle nut for a lot longer than I have been a knife nut. I have always had an Opinel and a SAK stashed somewhere on the bike. Since about 1980, the small Anza on the left has always been with me on whatever bike I am riding, usually right at the front of the tank bag, within easy reach. Cut salami and cheese, scraped gaskets, cut fuel hose, cut zip ties, levered off valve and clutch covers.

The close -fitting sheath makes it easy to drop in a pocket if I need it. I never wear it on my belt. The one on the right, acquired last year, could replace it, if I can find a suitable sheath. Haven’t had occasion to try it in that application.

Pretty much anything I'd normally carry. I've carried this a few times on the waist near my belt buckle, but I get a little worried about rubbing on the tank (yes, I have a tank protector)

it depends we're I'm going but normal if camping or out doors ka bar short with a kydex sheath as a boot knife
working on the motorcycles the cold steel ti lites 4s are good especially at wireing and zip ties in hard to reach places so one basicly lives with the multi meter and other electric tools useful for other mechanics work in general so normal one of them two if I need a knife on the bikes

I used to carry a German Army Knife made by Victorinox until my daughter got ahold of it. It fit very nicely in the tank bag of my K75 BMW.

I have not rode for too many years, but if I was to get a reasonable cost bike today, I'd be looking at a 500 rebel... I don't like heavy ones like they all seem to be today
I don't do highway riding so the 1200 common size seems a complete waste to me

for hard use, gasket fun, etc - the mora companion would fit the bill imho

I am on my third bike but I enjoyed my old R60/6 the best.
I could ride it at 75% of full throttle most of the time. Only bike I have ever been able to do that with.

I carry a Benchmade Socp spear point horizontal on my belt. Ride a triumph speed twin. Rode in to work today in Pittsburgh PA.

When I got my first bike in California (late 1970's) I had a Western L66 on my belt.
My last bike was in Iowa, (mid 1980's) I had an Old Timer 7OT on my belt.
I bought the 7OT just before riding to Iowa in 1980. I left the L66 behind in my trunk.
Sadly, the trunk that had all my stiff I couldn't take on the bike was (allegedly) destroyed by water when the building was (allegedly) flooded, so the trunk and its contents were never shipped to me.
(last year I did find and buy a "D" date code 1980 Western L66 to replace the one I "lost" so many years ago.)

"People" in cars were getting a "wee bit" crazy, IMHO, and it was getting into winter, so I traded the bike I bought in Iowa (1965 Triumph T100C) for a 1973 Plymouth Grand Fury III 4 door sedan, round about 1984.
I haven't had a motorcycle since. :(

I kept the 7OT on my belt.
