What Is Your Motorcycle Riding Knife?

I ride an 01 HD Electra Glide police model that was used as an escort bike for 9/11 funerals. Verified too. I have only owned HD's and wouldn't ride anything else.(period) I like to carry a bowie when I ride, or bowie style knife along with my COLT CCO in a shoulder holster.

Lately my small sebenza. In years past it was a gerber paul . 51 years. 14 harleys .
Never carried a buck 110 though.

My weakness was Sportsters. I carry a Buck 112 just because the shorter length means I won't sit on the thing by accident.

Yeah, I had several Super Glides, to boot. Good to carry a girl on I-94, but let's face it, it's just a bagger without the bags. It had all the finesse of a Kenworth.

whatever my EDC is - right now, spyderco domino and kizer mini begleiter

I usually have a mora in the saddle bags as I do a decent amount of motorcycle camping and it works good for all sorts of stuff.

I can pretty much count on one hand the number of times I’ve had the 1190 in 5th or 6th gear. 4th gear is pretty much all I need for riding around town. Just finished installing a MCCruise the other night so that will likely change this season. Was never much for highway riding due to wrist fatigue. That bike is “relatively” light and scary fast. It is still a handful for me to pick up off the ground though.

I’ve got a tank bag so I can put most any knife there. I have a good Leatherman i carry in a side bag toolkit.

1987 KLR here. I usually don’t switch out knives when I jump on the bike for a quick trip, but if I’m going for a long trail ride I almost always throw my Tops MSK(Mini Scandi Knife) in the backpack as an add on to whatever folder I have clipped.

Last summer I had been carrying a serrated Tasman Salt the most when I go for a ride. So folder wise I’d say that’s my motorcycle knife. It’s a no brainer, if I get stuck in a storm I don’t have to worry about having something like CruWear or M4 getting soaked, plus it’s an exceptionally handy knife and solid as could be. My Tasman has ripped through everything I’ve ever put it to.

Bike is a Fury. Knife (and/or knives) in pocket tend to be whatever the flavor of the month is. Unless however, if I'm not just commuting, and maybe doing an extended ride or special event. Then I'll probably choose something special. Today was again a ZT 0456 and Kershaw Natrix Copper. The bike always has a beater or two in the fork and saddle bags. If going more than my 1.5 mile commute, I'll most likely clip on my ZT 0180 also.

Now, the goods.... The bike that still puts a smile on my face after 10 years....

Doh, sorry. That was bike number one in the seventies. Not actually my pic. Plucked offline, but looks exactly like I remember.

Ok, now my baby. Yes it's a budget cruiser, but I absolutely love almost everything about it.

These were my two bikes before my left eye surgery. Both bikes were sold. I used the Super Glide for the interstates, and rode the wheels off my little Sportster because it was just fun.

My eye has healed now, my wife doesn't want to ride anymore, so perhaps another little Sportster might be in order.
