What will be the next CUSTOM made blade that you buy? Not that you WISH for, I'm talking about things that you have a reasonable possibility of purchasing in the next 6 months.

I'm looking at a Hendrix or Greco myself, thanks to reviews by fellow forum members.

Since I've already placed the order for my custom Hunter from Lynn Griffith (box elder scales, black scale liners, satin finished blade) it doesn't count.

My next custom will be Neil Blackwood's Medium Hunter in D2, with black micarta scales, tapered tang, filework, and black and white scale spacers. I should be able to swing the deposit sometime next month.

I've got a custom Tracker on oreder from Lynn Griffith. After that, I was dreaming of something in a fancy damascus.

A Keith Coleman Banshee. 3 1/4" BG-42 (heat treat by Paul Bos), mokume bolsters, desert ironwood scales, gold anodized titanium liners and clip. Only 2 more months! I really hate this waiting too

It's only a mistake if you fail to learn from it!

I should receive an R.J. Martin Q30 folder tomorrow. I'm making payments on an Ed Caffrey san mai damascus bowie that I'll pick up at Blade in June. I've also got a Rob Simonich Talonite Carnivore that's due sometime this year.

Oh gee... When I see this in writing, it makes me realize just how much freakin' money I spend on these things...

Let's see...in anticipated delivery order:
  • Allen Blade Talonite MEUK with maroon Micarta handle
  • Lynn Griffith Tracker with California Buckeye scales and black liners
  • Lynn Griffith Patrolman with beige G-10 scales and red liners
  • Keith Coleman Banshee with twist Damascus blade, mosaic bolsters and mastodon ivory scales
Looks like a lot of the same makers are showing up on several members' custom wish lists...

Jim

I have two on order from Allen Blade, A Talonite Neck knife and a Talonite Cricket. Another Talonite from Rob Simonich, the Carnivore. That should take care of my Talonite needs for the time being.

Also I just won an auction for a custom made belt buckle by knifemaker Joseph Knuth, a miniture pearl handled knife is in the buckle. That one will be here in a few days.

I hope to add a manual scale release from Center Cross before long.

I am looking at getting a W.D.Pease engraved semi-skinner.

I should have the pics shortly and make up my mind then. If it is as well done as the others I have by him, it is probably alreadt a done deal... Then I think I am going to need to save for a bit to do a nice Pease sidelock if possible.

Those TKCL knives, specifically the B&B fixed blade are looking great, great. I may have to drop a few bones on one of Bailey Bradshaw's whitewing folders as well...

Im hoping I might be able to manage a Griffith Sniper somewhere. First I think though, I would like to have a Patrolman with red g10 handles.

My order for the same knife counts

But I will most likely get the Talonite Tracker first

Paul,
Cant wait to make you that knife! The two Talonite Medium Hunters have generated lots of interest on my website. I have two in progress now in 3/16" D2. DEEP hollow grinds and VERY tapered tangs. Quite a change from my usuall light weight style. Pictures soon

Jerry tried to compensate the wait by giving me sage advice and chicken recipes.

Two special order Doziers and two of my own design from the Jones Brothers.

Then, all I'll need is an arm transplant to handle the extra knives.

I too am eagerly awaiting my knife from Mr. Jerry Hossom, along with one of his sweet neck knives for my wifey poo. That way, we're both HAPPY!!

If you want to be happy too, then go ahead and order some knives from Jerry. Warning though...you WILL become addicted. On second thought, if you're reading this, you already addicted to knives, so might as well get some Hossom knives to make you HAPPY!
