What is your size of your hand? Is it too big for most knife handles?

About 7 5/8" by 3 1/2". Don't generally have problems with knife handles.

Considering only hand size, the mythological Medium Sebenza would probably be perfect for me... but hand size alone is not a major issue.

I need a min. handle length of 4.25" to fit hand for a strong grip, or to palm it quickly without alot of fumbling and rearranging of the knife in the hand.

I have been looking for a neck knife with at least that handle length. Most I found are less than 4".

8" even from base of palm to tip of middle finger and 4" across the knuckles.

I can use bigger, lager knives without them feeling too large to handle, but I have thinner fingers so I can also handle the smaller knives without issue.

One of the most comfortable knives for me is the Sped Bumb and the NRG II.

8 1/2" from base of palm to tip of middle finger, 4 1/2" wide at the knuckles, & 10" span...I'm 5'10"

Most regular sized knives fit me pretty well. 7.75" from palm to end of middle finger, 3.75" wide at the knuckles.

8" from wrist to tip of middle finger, 4" across the knuckles, full span 9.5", size 12 ring...on my pinkies. ;)

Spyderco Temperance II is a perfect fit. I like Jerry Hossum's handles on the Spyderco collabs as well. Military is a perfect fit for a folder.

I'm dissappointed that there is no one here with 11" inch hands or something.

8 inch tip to base here too!
3.5 across.
I like the big handles, but hate them in my pocket. Damn compromises.

8.25 from middle finger to wrist, 4.25 across knuckles, 10.5 span. First edition full size manix is a great size for me.

9.0 inches middle finger to wrist crease, 4.25 across the palm.

My favorite folder is the large Benchmade RUKUS, and my favorite fixed blades all have to have at least 4.25 inches of grip and an oval cross section on the slabs to fill my hand.

4-1/8 across knuckles, 7.5" from tip of middle finger to base of palm. I do find most knives are too small to be either comfortable or offer a solid purchase for me. One knife that just fits and is the most comfortable I own now is an Emerson CQC14 Snubby. It really depends how the handle is shaped. I thought a Kershaw Tyrade or JYDII would fit my paws but that was a letdown. A lot of knives become a letdown the minute I handle them due to size.

8.25".

I finally got a knife that fits my hand... a custom knife I designed made by JK Handmade Knives (the Lobo). The handle is BIG. Perfect for me.

First crease at wrist to tip of middle finger 8 5/8". Span end of thumb to end of little finger 10".

I would rather hear nearly anything than a customer saying that he has big hands so make the handle long. When we do hear this we like to get a measurement across the knuckles.

The largest hands we have run into were on a very attractive lady that wanted a knife for her dad. She told me to hold up my hand and she placed her palm on mine and curled her fingers over the tips of mine. I was impressed! She said her dad had bigger hands than she did.
