I had one of the first AFCK's with the liner lock and the spider hole. It was my one and only EDC for nearly 20 years until I recently retired it to the shelf. Being that I like tip down carry, I don't think Benchmade now makes a knife that meets tastes. I've recently been carrying an Ontario Utilitac II or a Rat I to get the tip down carry that I like. If I might add, the Utilitac is an amazing knife for the $.

The reason I retired the old AFCK is that I had to reshape the blade twice over the years due to two tip snaps and the blade was just seeming a bit short for the amount of handle I was carrying around in my pocket and Benchmade no longer has replacement blades for them . If Benchmade ever produces that same knife again I would jump at the opportunity to purchase a new one.

Love the size of the mini and the blade of the Ritter...especially with custom scales. These are my two favorite users.

The 710 and the Bedlam. Very ergonomic knives that feel solid in the hand.

I want to buy another 710 so I can get it customized. CF scales (maybe CF lightning strike), bronzed thumbstud/screws, stone/acid washed pocket clip, and titanium blue pillars.

Thanks PS. Back when the gold class came out and the M4 Ritter shortly followed was the perfect chance to put together what I considered my ultimate Griptilian. I put the gold class M4 blade together with the Ritter standard scales and sold it for $125. Which left me with having about $300 in my knife.:thumbup:

My Mini-Dejavoo is my most enjoyable to carry, opening it is as slick as oil on glass. And my 1st generation AFO for sentimental reasons.
