What is your toughest, most durable blade you own?

I honestly have no idea and can only guess. It would be the Kabar Becker BK-2. Can't really stand the knife and refuse to carry it. It stands as a kind memento to the kind of knife I have essentially no use for at all. But, I don't regret buying it, nor do I want to sell it.

Probably this one. Kiffe Bolo (copy of old military bolo) I've been harder on this knife than any other.

My RAT 6 is another tough SOB

Busse KZII INFI.

Swamprat Rattle Hawk. Sr101

War Train Fusion Battle Grade (WTF BG) Sr101

Probably my CS Magnum machete is in this group. I've used it hard enough to bend it a bit, and straightened. Tough steel (1055?) But it is not too great on The edge retention.

I've had others that have passed on. About 13 different Busse.

In fixed blades it's either my Busse B11 or Nuclear Meltdown Fusion Battle Mistress.

Folders is probably my Andrew Demko ad-15

No idea. Got a WWI bayo, still looking great after more than a century, and a 1850's cloak dagger somewhere in a crate in Europe that was holding up pretty well.

I'd have to say my hoback perseverance in 3v, it's my hunting knife and is part of my flight gear

TK Steingass 3V Dead River Bowie

I'd have to give the nod to my lawn mower blades. Poor neglected things that they are, they sure stand up to some abuse.

Yeah, i dunno which one is my toughest or most durable.... Probably my field knife. It was made by Bryan Breeden (awesome dude - former custom knife maker) as a gift to me for "services rendered behind 'enemy' lines" (not in the US gov't employ.... inside joke).

The knife is 11" OAL - 6" blade/5" handle. It's just a hair over 2" wide at its widest and made from 1/4" O1 tool steel w/Bryan's heat treat (which is freakin' awesome). The knife came unbelievably hair poppin' sharp - think something like an obsidian scalpel. My sharpening skills are not nearly what Bryan could do, but it i keep it such that it easily 1-pass shaves.

So, if you're an armchair "operator" you may not like my sharpened pry bar. However, when i went through my companies SERE training (my Plt. Sgt was a SERE instructor so we trained on SERE stuff regularly), i wish i had had a knife like the one i designed and Bryan made for me.

So here she is in all her unsparkling glory (dead standing oak tree was cross-batoned NOT chopped down):

And another pic as Bryan is holding her (brand spankin' new):

I've made a leather sheath for it, but do not have any good pics of it...

ETA: some stuff
