What is your work EDC and what is your nights/weekend EDC?

I EDC a Leatherman Wave because it's on my keychain. It's nice to have a toolbox with you all the time.:D I can't even count the number of times it's come in handy.

My every day work EDC is a Spyderco Dodo.

For the past couple of weeks my off-work EDC's have been the Spec Bump in my RF pocket and a Benchmade/NRA model 12800(Osborne collab piece) in my LF pocket. I really had to thin out the edge on the Spec Bump to get it to what I consider a suitable edge thickness for the types of cutting I do. This has been my only real pet peeve about the Kershaw/Onion pieces. Both of the Bumps had to be thinned down. I took the green Bump down to .024" at the edge bevel and the Spec to .028". I didn't even think to measure what they were before I began to remove metal. :foot: Oh well...

I've grown rather enamored with the Spec Bump. I keep bringing out my EDC box to rotate it out, but it keeps finding it's way back to the pocket. I can't even seem to keep the green Bump in me pocket!
I wish Ken Onion would take a vacation or something. It seems like every other week Ken and Kershaw are coming out with yet another 'must have' piece. It's keeping my wallet thinner than I would ideally prefer.

I'm beginning to think it might be cheaper to just get a shrink and free myself from this obsessive/compulsive disorder. :o :p

I don't carry anything different for work or non-work. My constant EDC is my Vic Soldier and it's in my pocket just about all the time. My right pocket, one hand opener right now is a Spyderco Native. It's not always in my pocket at home, I don't really have the need to have two knives on my while I'm at home.

But it's always within reach for field dressing boxes and the mail. The Soldier is primarily for food prep or occasional medium duty cutting if I need it.

Like most knife nuts, I don't just have one EDC knife, or even just one for work and one for weekends!

For every day carry when I am at work, I normally choose a smaller, less intimidating knife. Right now, that is usally either a Victorinox Amabasador or Case Peanut. Since I work in an office, both can do everything I need a knife to do at work (usually opening packages, cutting plastic ties, etc.) while not bothering the sheeple I work with. The Peanut is a new aquisition that I am particularly fond of, just because it is such a pretty little knife.

For after work or weekend carry, I prefer something a but more substantial. For now I rotate between my Spyderco Delica, Kershaw Leek and Benchmade Mel Pardo Auto (its nice to live in an elightend state without those silly "switchblade" laws. :D ). The Spyderco is probably my favorite at the moment. Nice and light, easy to open, and large enough to do what I want without being too big. I'm thinking about replacing the Mel Pardue in my "rotation" with a Benchmade AFO due to its more useful blade style.

Of couse being a knife nut I do have quite a few other knives, but most of those are either a bit too large (Spyderco Military), illegal (Cold Steel Defender push dagger) or not really suitable (Cold Steel Master Tanto) for typical every day carry. ;)

I EDC my Munroe Stormcrow 7days/week. Like some others, I work through the weekends (with the Red Cross) so the weekday/weekend paradigm doesn't really apply to me.

Weekday work: Spyderco KOPA in Micarta, Spyderco Viele 2 in Micarta, Kershaw Nakamura Damascus and I just ordered a MCusta Gents Folder in MIcarta.

Weekend is Griptillian, Caly Jr in ZDP or possibly a Mini Grip.

Work: Benchmade Rescue Hook, Victorinox OHT, Vic stayglow Camper
home: Allen Blade Scandi Pack Pal, Vic Farmer, Vic Rucksack

both vary quite a bit of course, with various other folders and FBs thrown in...

At work, I carry a Victorinox Mini Swiss Champ(it's the only thing I can sneak in through the metal detectors). ".

Contrary to the US Code that FullerH is always quoting (I need to keep a copy of that with me), my building is very shaky on their edged policy. Outside of work, IE weekdays for me, I carry a Buck Cadet stockman, a Spyderco Native and my Leatherman Squirt is on my keychain. On the weekends, if I am going somewhere casual etc, I carry either my Kershaw Splinter quince wood or my Benchmade Apparition, and my Case amber bone medium stockman. I'm trying to get a cocobolo medium Queen stockman for "nice" back pocket carry.

At work I carry one of the 15 or so gents knives I have. They range from bone and wood handled slipjoints to lockbacks to a titanium frame lock. Benchmade, Spyderco, Buck, Queen, Case, A.G. Russell, etc. They all have blades that are less than 2 and 1/2", because anything larger would be illegal where I work.

Off-work I carry a Benchmade 710HS or a small regular Sebenza, along with a slipjoint, which is usually a Queen Cocobolo Congress, but sometimes a Buck 301,Victorinox Tinker, or other slippie. Lately, however, I've been carrying a vintage 2-dot Buck 110 in a belt pouch in place of the 710 and Sebbie.
