Right on - I have almost the same Lakefield - sights on them are not always aligned exactly right but man they sure do shoot straight!

Please, Please, Please dont try to take anything over a coyote with your .22 lr, It's too small of a round to try to take a deer sized game and do it any justice,you'll just wound or maim it unless the barrell is positioned correctly in the ear to a direct shot to the hypothalimus gland in the center of the brain. which is how they kill cows at the sluaghterhouse. but i'm bettin that those conditions never happen in the field. now if we were talkin a .223rem, .22-250rem, .220 swift. with atleast 55-60 gr bullets than even that would be considered by most to light for whitetail size game.

but other than that nice pics of everything!
 
I would imagine he is talking about a survival scenario...although I have to admit I've known plenty of guys who'd killed deer for food using a .22 - mostly from tree stands, near on straight down, they drop like rocks from the sky! Never done it myself and wouldn't unless I had to but I would have to say it's plenty effective.
