Heres a couple of knives I have recently been working on, small one is 1080, rest is 1095, The big knife is a harpoon tip knife, ones a really small sfc, and tomorrow I get to start on the small hunter, all the hamons are simple polishes, I just etch and polish at 400 grit, makes it really stand out in all lighting,Thanks everyone for all the help,Charlie:thumbup:

Its got a small rise on the sharpened clip, I may be wrong about calling it a harpoon tip? Maybe someone can chime in with a better description for me, Thanks for the kinds words,Take care,Charlie

Oh oh oh...okay! :) I thought maybe there was more to it... like you lash it to a Makah Indian whaling spear or something :D

I just call that a raised clip, but harpoon tip sounds way cooler. :)

See, 'ya learn something new everyday :)

BTW- It's my favorite one of the bunch

Nice work Charlie. They all look good and I think I like the Harpoon Tip the best. :)
