What khukuri do you want for Christmas?

I think that the title pretty much explains it all. With me, I think that it's a case of wanting what you can't have, as my top three choices are:

1. a khukuri modeled after Yvsa's full curving Chainpuri
2. a Sherpa style khukuri
3. a Bhudhini
 
It's so secret even Uncle Bill doesn't know about it. Yet.
 
In my plan they would have been:
- silver mounted 18" kobra with bolstered karda & chakma
- chainpuri handled 18" ube with plain scabbard (no brass chape)
- steel bolstered 16" WWII with satisaal handle, plain holster (no brass chape)
As sometimes things don't go as we would like them to go, if I'll be lucky I will get a 20" kobra.

You read my mind. I ordered one from Uncle Bill. It probably won't make Christmas, but that's okay. I'll be happy whenever it comes.

I'm with Terry!

but if my special order left handed silver mounted dui-chirra with bolstered karda &chakma got here by christmas I would settle for that!

Khukuri - 27" Bura Banspati, replace brass handle and mounts with silver fittings, habaki bolster, buttcap mounted with turquois center , marbled grey/black or red/black water buffalo horn handle.

Scabbard of matching water buffalo horn, with overlaid in silver in a kothimoda pattern mounted with more turquoise and coral, with about 80% coverage.

While they are at it, they may as well toss in the Holy Grail too as part of the package. That shouldn't jack the price up that much.

2. 20" Kumar Kobra .

3. H.I. Yvsa Special Tomahawk.
 
Yvsa --- You're right about a guy can never have enough sharp beautiful curves around (Khukuris of course)ha ha! I think maybe i'll try to get Terry to make up some scabbards some time soon.That would really add a nice mix to my H.I. collection. Got to clean up my uncle Bill debt first.
