What kind of blade is this? HELP?

Hey guys, new member here looking to purchase my first "real" knife. I am a somewhat avid hunter and am looking to purchase THIS knife but I have NO IDEA what kind it is. I copied this photo from a gun forum but was unable to contact the member to ask him/her what type of knife it is. Soooo does anyone have any info on this blade?

Kind of looks like it might be a Strider to me. Don't know much about em though so I could be wrong.
 
Welcome. I have a STrider and I love it. Expensive though. Lots of other great options for a great fixed blade. Try ESEE, Swamp Rat, Scrap Yard, Becker .... All great and cheaper.

Most of the fellas here who hunt don't recommend a tanto blade shape as a hunting knife blade.
Just sayin'
 
I agree with knarfeng, get a knife that has some belly on it, like a bowie, clip, or drop point on it instead of a tanto. What's your budget? There are tons of good hunting knife options, but if you like the tactical look an ESEE-4 is a good bet.

But not stainless right?;)

Though I'm not a big fan of tanto blades.
