what kind of cord does crk use for lanyard

hey guys and girls, I was wondering if any of you can tell me what kind and thickness of cord does crk use on the lanyards. I use paracord, but nothing gives a sebenza a distinct look like the original cord.

I'm not sure of the actual name for the cord CRK use but it doesn't have as fine a weave as 550 cord and it's also a bit thinner.

It's also not kernmantle like 550 cord.

It's almost like a shoelace style material.

It definitely feels shoelace-like. To be honest, I much prefer 550 paracord.

The cord on my smalls is 3mm diameter, different to 550 cord though, doesn,t go flat like the 550, i read somewhere on here they get it from
franklin braid, maybe give them a call, they may send you some for a small charge.

It's just standard 3mm cord from what I've seen. It's sold at a lot of sporting good stores that stock rock climbing and camping equipment.

I always assumed it was boot lace material.
