I dont know much about different grinds. Im aware of Scandi, Convex, Concave... I think. What other styles are there and whats your favorite? Also, what is easier to sharpen?

I personally like chisel grinds. In my experiences they hold their edge longer, are sharper, and are easier to sharpen.

Ive used knives with different grinds, and i cant tell the difference in performance. Thick vs thin is the only performance difference i seem to notice in a blade.

I prefer flat ground and full convexed blades. In my experience flat is great for cutting/slicing, but I'm realy starting to love the strength and performance of convex!

Personally I like either hollow ground or full-flat ground blades with a traditional v-ground cutting edge. I'm not too fond of chisel ground cutting edges on my blades mainly for aesthetic reasons and recurves for the sake of sharpening-related reasons.

My favorites, in order, are:
Convex, full flat and Scandi.

I find these give me the best results in cutting performance. Combine a full flat and a convex edge and I'm grinning like an idiot. Where's that pile of wood?:D

Full, thin flat grinds, with a convex edge make me smile.

Me too... I always have an Emerson on me.

Generally FFG and convex. High, thin hollow grinds are OK too.

Looking forward to checking out the grind on my incoming Spyderco Centofante 4.

Full Flat grind w/ Convex edge. IMO-Most practical and obviously the easiest to sharpen.
-Hollow grinds are miserable to sharpen.
-Chisel grinds don't provide me with the positive mindset and satisfaction that I get from using other blades.
+ How could Chisel grinds be stronger than others?
