What kind of husqvarna axe is this?

It looks like crap. Accepting these things is telling the manufacturer it is ok. There are certain things that should not be accepted from top end manufacturers. There are some things that should not be accepted from any manufacturer. What you have is inexcusable at any level. If you had hung it yourself then sure, if it is tight roll with it. You paid for this. Demand better quality instead of accepting what probably amounts to a mistake.

i guess this is machinery fail, with a press and a pad to big for the round metal wedge!

Something definitely went wrong on that one.

That it did! But only at the wedging stage. Give any fresh kid (or newbie hire) a power tool (fancy hydraulic ram!) and rudimentary instructions and for sure they'll dial up the speed/power and skimp on the finesse. "Boss said 'give'er half minute for each one' but I done it way quicker, man, which gimme lots of time ta g'wan out and have another smoke".

The blame here should lie entirely with whoever manufactured the axe but then again this is 2017 and none of the inspectors, middlemen or distributors took notice nor did the retail stores. Long story short no one along the line 'gives a hoot' and the majority of naive buyers don't know enough to complain either.
Was it gov't or JQ Public that mandated warranties as products declined in quality? Used to be makers proudly stood behind their stuff because their reputation was at stake. Today everybody passes the buck and nobody 'willingingly' takes responsibility for distribution of shoddy goods.

Totally agree with 300SIX. I've contacted husqvarna's support staff and they were really kind. They offered me a new carpenter's axe. I also contacted the retailed that I bought axe from but they didn't even managed to reply me. Long story short they said that this is the older model of husqvarna's carpenter's axe, I appreciated their awesome customers support but I decided to keep the axe. Even if the axe fails I'm not gonna ragret my decision. I can't give away this axe after all this, I really like the axe. Thanks all of you guys for nice support aswell and nice explanations!

Good for you! Metallurgy-oriented work is not something the most of us can aspire to or relate with, but learning all about woods, shaping and hanging is entirely within most enthusiast's capability. As a useful object that axe will easily last you a lifetime and the qualities of that head will far outweigh and outlive however many different handles are installed on it. Put 'er work to earn it's keep and start keeping an eye out for 'stave' sources, files/rasps and sandpaper for crafting your own personalized version of the 'ultimate' axe.
