What kind of Sheath do you prefer?

I make kydex/concealex sheaths...

But, even I don't think there is just one answer.

Let's take for example many Green River pattern knives.

1. The standard is leather, that is what people expect.

and

2. There is no good way to sheath them in kydex, as they are not made with the modern curves and such...


On the other hand, kydex offers a great deal of versatility which makes it my favorite, and that has been since long before I started making sheaths. : )

I like both Kydex and Leather, prefer Leather overall though, on my users I usually have both Kydex and Leather sheaths made for them. :)
 
I'm partial to leather, more design/function options....to me most Kydex sheaths look the same, no matter who makes them.

Just a thought......as I just caught myself posting the same as I did a few days ago when this same discussion came up on another forum...as ofter as this "leather vs. Kydex" thing comes up.....do results/conclusions ever change?
