What kind of watch do tactical operators wear?

I'm definitely not a tactical operator either, but when I was in the Corps (and Desert Storm) I wore a Rolex Datejust.

I always take my watch off while I sit at the keyboard sharing my past missions, that never actually happened, with others. I'm not taking a chance on scratching it, or spilling Pepsi on it.
That's how I roll...

You kids nowadays. More tacticool than anything.
Can a Gshock resist emp blasts?
How long does the battery last? Long enough to snipe a drug lord while lying in the jungle for 5 years waiting for the right moment to take the shot?
Thought so.

:D
Digital g-shock batteries last 7 years. It's pretty long time.
I haven't experienced emp blast sofar.

Super tacticool!

I'm not one but if so I would leave my Rolex Submariner and Datejust at home and wear a Seiko Black Monster.

I'm not one myself but I served alongside my share of Soldiers, Marines and Airmen. A good share of fighter pilots as well. Most of the watches I've seen were G-Shocks, followed by Citizen and Victorinox. On rare occasions I'll see a Rolex, Omega or TAG.

In my career field (USAF) we were only allowed not metal watches and we got our butts chewed for ever wearing any jewelery. Most of us electronics maintenance types just used the cell phones in our pockets for watches.
