I found this bright colored little guy while I was out this eve.
Looking down on top of him -

He was hanging out on this plant ...there were hundreds of these little guys !

Funny - I just saw one of them tonight for the first time ever and was thinking the same thing. I had no idea what it was. Cool looking insect!

As a general rule avoid red....

.....unless it's an apple....or a cherry....or a tomato...or a raspberry...or a grape....or a pepper....
