What knife are you carrying for the rapture?

I had my finest - my CRK StarTac Umnumzaan - but it was gone from my pocket by day's end - and I was still here - guess it really was perfect! Sob...

Apparently the Rapture came and went yesterday and I was busy cuttin' and stackin fire wood all day so I missed it.

I was carryin' a Spyderco FRN Dyad, a Pat Crawford Framelock and an old Union Knifeworks Moose Pattern with 1 blade that snapped off that I ground into a box cutter.

You cannot imagine my disappointment this morning. :(

Glad I didn't really sell my knives for beer. :D
 
On the day it was a Great Eastern Moose in sambar - think I may get another of those :) Maybe in bone though

can anyone out there tell me if the Soligen Germany Bowie that I am tempted to buy today is a quality knife? It is at least an 8" blade with the word BOWIE along the rigt sider in letters 1/2 inch tall. sheath is crap but I do all my own leather work so that doesn't matter.
 
I'm thinkin' something like this would have been quite appropriate. :thumbup:

I guess now, with no rapture, I'll need to find another reason to convince my wife I have to buy one of Joe Szilaski's carved angel wing knives. :(

I am pretty sure that if the rapture would have happened the knives would be left here for those who didn't go. Tell you what...when the rapture happens you can have my knives I wont need them anymore.

I met PML at the Mystic knife show last month. He had really nice stuff at his table, including one fantastic piece whose name I don't recall, but I wanted it much.
