What knife are you seriously looking at next?

Get one, you'll love it. Haven't stopped flipping or carrying mine since I got it.

If this is a wish list then put me down for a 0452 in M390. I missed the boat on the last sprint run.

I was looking at either a Microtech LUDT, Benchmade auto, or a Protech auto with D2 steel blade. I have had protechs and benchmades, but have never had any Microtech of any kind. I would like to try Microtech, but don't know how solid they are.

I realized that i dont need expensive knives to make me happy. Im on a Swiss Army Knife kick right now. Im looking at the Cadet and the Pioneer X. Which one should i get first?

They are both good but get the Cadet first unless you really use scissors a lot.

LUDT is legendary. Probably the best production auto there is.

For once in my life . . .

None.
I may be kidding my self but at this "juncture" I'm happy.
I had my head turned a while ago by the Spyderco Ouroboros but found out it costs more than my favorites and has teflon washers, thank you Nick Shabazz. So probably not going there. I have taken brand new knives apart to improve them and found the new teflon washers torn or distorted.

I have a little twinge toward getting yet another Case; the full size Trapper in walnut bone. Truth is I wouldn't carry it. I like my modded stag too much see bellow. I don't own stuff I don't carry. Sure is gorgeous though.

So thas about it.
I'm happy with these :
  • Boker Urban Trapper with custom KrayEx scales. Sans clip (knife is too thick for pocket) add amo clip pouch . . . LOVE it.
  • Case full size Trapper in real Stag. Removed spay blade. The Stag handle is a handful compared to other trappers . . . LOVE it.
  • Spyderco Gayle Bradley One. No mods other than opening up the pocket clip a tweak. I wouldn't change a thing . . . LOVE it.

Picked up a Strider SJ-75 Baby Huey Thursday and it is pretty nice, not at all like most Striders that I have handled...3" blade (2.75" edge), really smooth with a solid lock up and CC like G-10 scale. I have only had it a couple of days but it actually cuts/slices pretty well and seems to be an easy carry EDC.

If the SJ-75 was not a frame lock, I would be all over that knife. Well, that and the price. Very cool looking knife though.

Looks like Phillip Patton is building my damascus EDC bowie... Almost forgot about that so I guess that answers the topic question :D

Nothing for me at the moment. I will get to fondle a Spydie GB2 (own the 1 w/ non-skel. liners) amd a Manix 2 XL for a bit as I set up a raffle to benefit blood cancer research. That will have to satisfy the base urges created by the new knife gene for a bit. The only exception will be if I can sell my ar-15 & custom .308 sniper rifle setup - but I am not counting on that.
