Okay... we all started probably the same... cheap $5 knife that grew on us... a spyderco was "ridiculous".... too much money...

Moving on, regardless how you came to drop 3,4,$500 on a folder... which one can you just not leave in the past?

For me, as much as i keep trying to leave them behind I always end up with an smf and an umnumzaan.

It has to be the Hinderer XM-18 3.5" Gen 4, doesn't matter which blade style, I'm only missing one

For production knives, bark river. Very good workmanship, large variety of steels and knife styles.
I bought 2 Puukko knives from Malanika, being custom hand forged and finely finished knives in 52100 and 80CRV2.
More then satisfied with both brands.

I've been carrying the same knife for almost a year, 24/7 and almost 365, so I guess I just can't "walk away" from CRK.

I find I keep buying Spydercos. However I go through phases of different knives. I try to carry a different one but end up putting it back in the box and snatching my favourite before I leave the house. That favourite knife right now is a tie between my cqc-7 tan and my natural micarta large inkosi.

I can't walk away from Bucks. BCCI member, just because they were what you carried as a teenager in the early to mid 70s.

I will never sell my CRK Lg Inkosi CF, ZT 0450cfzdp, 940SLV proto, Carter Muteki, Bradfod Gatsby, BRK Aurora LT 3V, Spartan Ares, 908bk-1501, or 730-1501.

For Production, I would have to say spyderco. Though I'm not necessarily a brand guy. I buy what I like and spyderco has made many models that I like.

Definitely Benchmade, the customer service and the robustness of the knife just can't make me turn away from it!

For me it's ZT and Spyderco. But I appreciate and enjoy most of my diverse collection.
