What knife did you buy yourself for Christmas

My wife and I are now at a stage in life we can buy most anything we want, so I don't use the holidays as an excuse to myself anything. I do enjoy the giving though. The only knife I'm giving as a Christmas gift this year is an LT Wright GNS saber grind. My son picked it, and the gift is for him so it will be no surprise.

Most of the gifts I receive are consumable. My wife and kids know if they get me anything not consumable, it should be made by them. I do often get art from my daughter with BFA, but this year I suspect her time was used for art for her new niece. In the last few years, I've received kangaroo and bison steaks, goat meat, movie tickets, meals out at local restaurants, a National Parks annual pass, a certain specific sized backpacking alcohol stove my son made, etc. I mostly enjoy the handmade gifts with the consumables coming in at a close second.

The best Xmas gift ever...

My ESEE 5 felt so alone so after LONG toughts I had and ESEE 6...
Here a picture of the brothers side by side...I already used my 6 last Saturday in a day hike,
and had lot of fun processing firewood, carving, batoning and so on...a great knife!

Now...I don't know which one to take for my trips...both are so awesome!

I saw on facebook Allen Putman has some new aluminum scales for the Kershaw Skyline so I ordered a set and a damascus Skyline for a gift for myself. Nothing big but it's my first Skyline.
Other than that one of our fine forum brethren gifted me a beautiful Spyderco Manix 1 for Christmas. I couldn't wait to open it. Disclaimer: He told me to open it.

I have ordered a Tidioute #83 mini lockback with the drop point, its in route now. Everyone in my family knows not to buy me knives since I am so particular, but I will say that it's from the wife. It makes her feel better about me buying another
