What knife do you crave, but can't afford, or justify buying?

Benchmade 3200 Pardue. I am hoping to pick up one on the way through Sandton come month end.

Why, , cuz, we are not yet restricted on autos and I plan to enjoy it until then. Not been particularly interested in autos until recent events on hand opening a buck with a wrist flick cutting duct tape sealing a document sent it skating across the floor. Always wanted a Benchmade so put together..................

BUSSE SFNO...and one more BATAC with snakeskin-slabs...and one more Skinny ASH, just to be on the safe side.

Frankly, anything from the US at the moment. Buying it now with the current AUD<=>USD rate is just plain stupid, and I know that if I make any purchases (except for one thing, which isn't really a knife), I'm going to be kicking myself if the exchange rate improves.

Busse SHBM. Can't afford one, considering that I've already got FBMs... If I didn't have FBMs, I would be on an SHBM in a heartbeat if I could find one. :p

Chris Reeve Professional Soldier.
A very nice necker-style that would work great for backpacking. But it's $185.
For a minimalist necker, I'm sorry, thats nutz.

I covet big, beautiful custom/high-end production bowies:

Shiva Ki Fightin Bowie
Randall "Smithsonian Bowie" Model 12
Bill Bagwell custom Helle's Belle

A Gary Bradburn forged shobu. His shobu's are beautiful.
And...one is on the way! :)

A Chris Reeve sebenza....or mnandi....anyone and configuration would do...I just can't afford it even though I have been saving for 3 years!

Knives I crave, but will probably never get are...

1.Sebenza or that new one Umnumzaan.
2.Any Busse(well,maybe a game warden.Really want a meaner street)
3.Any William Henry
4.Any Klotzli(sp?)
5.A Ferhman
6.Burke Rockstar
7.Strider
8.A knife by Tom Krien,Gossman,A big Harner knife in 3V, & (most)all those other juicy customs I see here everyday.:(:o

[edited to add] Also a BM710 in M2.The last I seen,they're about $650-$700!!

I am dying to get a ZT 0301 or ZT 0302. Either one will be fine but I like the coyote brown more. By no means I will be paying retail price for one of those. I will wait to see if the Euro goes up again so I feel "less wrong" paying that much for a folder I will be barely using (not the kind one feels comfortable carrying after being already fined for carrying a Delica...)

Hands down a Randall. I know from examining some of these great knives that they are exceptional. I could probably apply my self and save and get one, but alas it would just sit in my gun safe only to be admired every now and then. I think a good knife should be used as well as admired, so in other words I consider myself unworthy of such a fine piece:o.

What I'd REALLY like is a Reese Bose (or fifty). They're heap expensive, though.

But more realistically, what I crave (and buy) are
Schatt & Morgan
Great Eastern Cutlery
Busse
Case

I've pretty much satisfied my appetite for Spyderco and Benchmade for the moment. I have drawers full of them now.

There are alot of nice knives out there. Times seem to be tough for everyone right now. What I would really like would be a Swamp Rat Ratweiler or something similarly sized and a folder that would really take some abuse but that I could comfortabley carry. Maybe a Strider SNG. Once I had a Strider AR and had it modded so it was more ergonomic and easier to carry but it was just too large for me. This old Case folder I am carrying just doesn't quite do what I need it to. For me locking would be great and easy to clean.

Probably have to be a Spyderco Forager/Forester, Busse Tank Buster, Extreme Ratio RAO, TOPS Commanche Hawke II and a few others I've seen here such as the Yuna Hard 3 (really want this one)
