What knife do you find yourself playing with the most?

Let's admit it, we all have that knife that we go to to play with when we're sitting at the computer or the TV or whatever. What's yours? Mine is my Kershaw Skyline (recommended by Nutnfancy). Love flipping that sucker!

I have a really small collection of knives compared to most of what I've seen on this website. Seriously, as far as "nice" folders from the "big three", I have a BM Kulgera and a Kershaw Needs Work.

So yeah, I usually find myself doing everything with the Kulgera. I shave with it, I play with it, I use it.

The AXIS lock is just too addicting not to play with. I wore out the springs that BM used and replaced them with some D'Addario nickel guitar strings so they wouldn't wear out again. Then I wound up noticing that I was working my pivot loose faster than I usually would so I got some Loctite. Anything but stopping; it's my knife, if I want to play with it I can!

Aside from how fun it is to play with, it's a great user too, so I try to prevent my "playing" from abusing the knife and have kind of modified it for that use. I doubt most people need Loctite and premium-metal omega springs in theirs.

I play alot with my Mini Grip since the Axis lock is quite possibly the most fun lock ever. My Skyline also gets flippered open alot along with my BM 745 Mini Dejavoo that I can flip open like a gravity knife.

1. Microtech Combat Troodon
2. Dalton Tango
3. RJ Martin Q-36
4. RJ Martin Overkill Smooth
5. Kirby Lambert Sniper

I have a Spyderco Delica4 and Endura4 (both FFG) on the couch at all times.

My girlfriend says she hates the sound of the lock clicking closed. She'll just have to get used to it.

Usually a Mircotech OTF. The wee UTX70 is one of those knives I play with a lot. I must
have fired it 1000s of times but probably only used it a hand full of times at best. :p

I have a few Balis as well but it's hard to beat the old "snik-snak" of an OTF when looking at the tube.

Delica 4.
Even my 14 year old daughter likes to play with it because it's so easy to open.

After that: CS Kudu; nice sound when opening, a bit more work when closing.

Been playing a lot with my new 710-1 as well as BM51. Keep on flipping my Buck Vantage Pro still hoping it will loosen up, and I regularly play with my BM Skirmish. Love the "thwack" of that big blade when it opens.

Kershaw Leek, Spyderco Delica 4, and Benchmade Mini-Grip are my usual fidget knives. I do love to mindlessly open and close them much to the dismay of others around me:). It sure has made me very comfortable with those knives.

BM 943 (been playing with it for years)
Large Sebenza (Because it's fairly new)
Umnumzaan (Because I'm still breaking it in)

Hi MrPres -

My Kershaw Volt, A.G. Russell Acies, and my BM Mini Griptilian.

I don't tend to just snap them open constantly, I will open them a few times and then just have one in my hand or very near just in case I get the urge....

I am not sick, I know I can stop at any time. :o

best regards -

I find myself flicking open whatever knife I haveme with my while I'm driving. Better than talking on the cell phone I guess.

I find that the most recent purchase gets the most play-time in front of the tube. Next to last was the little Boker Plus CLB Titan SubCom... currently it's the CRK/Wilson Combat 'StarTac' Umnumzaan - neat. Next... a BM 171 Chopper - have to stay away from 'The View'...
