I have a sharp be design Typhoon Tanto style flipper on the way. made by Brian Nadeun @ http://www.sharpbydesign.com/
I was, actually hunter for an F3 3.5"/4" blade. Mainly because they are meant for tough use, and they are a quick deployment style flipper. I passed on orange, green, and other ugly scales to include g10 which didn't turn me on. Of course a 4" f3 that was perfect for me came up for sale, but I didn't know it. it was snatched yup quickly of course.
I wanted a pohan leu bluephin; but didn't want to wait for a custom version i wanted. I considered seriously another Andre Thornburn Flipper, came real close to pulling the trigger on one. Yet, because some of the signature details that Mr. Thornburn makes with his knives I passed. His books are close I'm told so again I didn't want to wait.
I didn't even know much about Brian, but after some quick checking i felt that rush and opened communication to buy the knife.
I got this one from blade junkee http://www.bladejunkee.com/folders.html top of the page in the middle. It's marked sold. I was on the phone with Scott when that was changed because i bought it.
Once i figure out how to post pictures again I'll post some up here. My most expensive knife to date & unless i get a Santiago balisong or a bali balistic it might be my last big knife purchase. This tanto is definitely an investment piece for me. The blade, might cut paper 3-6 times max and nothing else. It will not be carried outside in the real world; & will be flipped for fun only. :tickled_pink:
Video is sort of funny, but does show some relevant information explained by Brian.
