Nice. I have been looking at the 0560 series. They seem like great knives and they use elmax which I am interested in trying.

Ugh. Got delivery on the first 3 plus a kershaw cryo I forgot to post about, and the first 3 all had issues and have to go back:
0561 - detent is set ridiculously heavy, and it is nearly impossible to deploy the blade with the flipper or stud
Rat-1 - they sent me the wrong color - great knife though, might even keep it in addition and have two - ordered a smaller Rat 2 to go with it, I was so impressed - just great deployment, lock-up, sharpness, etc.
Vantage force - Liner lock over extends too far over to the other liner and is a bear to unlock.

The Kershaw cryo is perfect - the nicest one of the bunch actually, imo, not counting the 0561, which is really superb fit and finish, and a gorgeous blade. Already ordered replacements/exchanges for them, so we'll see how round two goes.

What the heck is going on with QA these days? I know the cheaper ones are made in China, but jeez, the ZT isn't. And the Rat (actually made in Taiwan) actually was super tight and well-made - just the wrong dang color.

A Spyderco Rubicon which should be here today :D
Hopefully before I leave for work...
It did

Had a No 6 a few years ago...lost it in the woods. This one's bigger and should be easier to find when dropped LOL

I'm going to mod the handle. I have some different exotic wood samples...and some antler...not sure how I want to approach re-handling it. Wood...antler...both...neither...not quite sure yet.

This blade is bigger than my previous one by inches. I want to create something for an EDC type blade...thumbstud [or cutout], cold gun blue the blade, flatten the handle [side to side]...perhaps finger groove it...but it's going to get a pocket clip of some type. If I can pull it off, a deep carry type clip...
