You're definitely making a mistake there. ESEE 3 has better ergos, quality, and peace of mind. You say it's ridiculous, I say all knives are a piece of steel, and the reason ESEE has the warranty and Ontario doesn't is because they aren't afraid their product will fail and they'll have to dish out money. Thet trust their work, for good reason, while Ontario doesn't feel the same about their own gear and might leave you hanging.Rat 3.
I contemplated an ESEE 3 for a while but I think a warranty on a hard use tool is ridiculous. You only warranty things you are expecting to fail IMO.

One of these pretty things. Bought it with a BEAD1LY lanyard, since I can't think of any custom lanyard from my preferred source that would suit this knife better.

Next up will probably either be a Large PE clip point Cold Steel Voyager, or a Spyderco Manix 2 XL....
The only thing I have coming is a punch in the face as I've spent too much money on knives the last month and now my bank account is almost empty, especially after $1200 rent payment.
Believe me, I know that feeling....just paid the rent, helped the missus-to-be pay for her phone repairs, and bought some things I probably should have postponed....and then I buy a Super Blue Endura with a relatively expensive lanyard, paying for top-dollar shipping...I'm going to have to call an exorcist.

Jeez...I thought the cost of living is high where I live.
