What Knife Do You Have Coming?

Been searching for this one for a long time, a little rough but should make a great user :D



Scored this one today for a great deal, was listed as an SNG but I'm pretty sure it's an SMF ;)



Hopefully have both in hand by the weekend :)

Just commissioned my first custom with a local smith who's a relative of a coworker. It's a gift to me as a thank you for being his go-to guy in the office.

Will be a no frills, survival/edc fixed blade, I've designed myself, similar to a Bradford Guardian 4. Approx 4" blade, most likely 1095 or similar steel, and bamboo scales. It's gonna be my all purpose, camping, hiking, outdoors, edc blade.

Not sure what to expect yet, as I've given him a bit of freedom with materials and final shape, as long as he sticks within my general design parameters. But I'm really excited to have a knife made, just for me, by a local craftsman.

That does it, IDK if I've seen another pic of yours or if someone else has one that I've seenbut as an electrical engineer hobbyist with old circuit boards of my own design laying around by the linear foot I'm going to have some scales made for some of my folders using it. That'll be so cool to have my knives have scales made of a circuit board i designed and laid out myself!
Thanks for costing me money on more frivolous things!

I sent my ALRT off to have a custom kydex sheat made. Also have three G10 fixed blades coming any time.
 
I just ordered a CRKT Minimalist from BladeHQ, the black drop point one with the G10 handles. It's the first neck knife I've ever ordered so I'm excited for it to come.
 
I'm pretty stoked to have a Bradford Guardian 4 inbound. I opted for the 3D handles and M390 steel and have pretty high expectations for this one as a three season camping, hiking and backpacking utility blade.

I'll post something about first impressions when it arrives and later when I get it into the woods.
