I don't have anything én route myself but I'm sending a coffin handle utilitac to my cousin tomorrow for his birthday. I hope he'll use it hard as a beater to take some work load off his aging (5+ years of every single day carry) Benchmade Stryker.
On the way for me are a Cold Steel Gurkha Kukri in Sk-5, Becker Bk9, and though I'm not proud of it was able to get an A1 clone for cheap with what little funds I had left.
I've got a 'Roided Kriss from Rich Derespina, an M4 from Gray Wolf Knives, and a cleaver tipped M10 from MBB in the works. (I suppose I should contact Rich for a guestimated ETA, since he stopped taking new orders last summer.) Other than that, it will depend on what catches my eye here.
Well I just got a DFW/BHK buffalo brumby and have a stag handled necker in the mail. I also have a John Mcquain custom from Battle Horse knives and a small 1095 custom with Old bhk logo that should be here Wednesday. I just sent a email about picking up my first knife from the forum. If it goes thru then I'll have a BHK short trail coming my way too. Fingers crossed!
Just got a CRKT Tighe Coon in the mail today (LOVE it). These normally go for $50-60, but I got mine from GP Knives for $36 shipped. I should also have a CRKT Van Hoy Snap Lock in my hands in the next day or two. "Only" and AUS-4 blade, but I love the unusual mechanism of the knife. These are discon'd, and the one I bought cost me more than the Coon ($38). I figured since I saved some on the Coon, I'd go ahead and splurge on the Snap Lock while I could.
Btw, if anyone's wondering, the inserts in the Coon's handle are vaguely rubbery but really feel almost more like hard plastic. At first touch, they feel plastic, but if you put a finger nail on one of the grooves and exert some force, they will give very slightly.
